First && foremost, I see it as more of a sister school to Asagao; Argyreia Academy.
(also pls note that i mention something about jon, but haven’t finished his route but use this as a reason for the GG club to have exsisted)
Arin, Jon, Barry && Suzy started a very small (&& almost unknown) club during their first year in Argyreia Academy. However, with Jon’s acceptance into Asagao in the beginning of his second year did he transfer to the new school, leaving the club behind. Eventually however do they begin getting new members as they grow from the small club they were during their first year to something a bit bigger.
Arin, being an aspiring artist && animator does he invite his roomate Ross, who is in the same boat as him once they start kick starting their club to be even bigger. Around this time is Ross working on his own gaming show with Dan called Steam && they get both Ross && Dan in with the Grumps. Kevin came in as a first year && was brought in by Barry since the two had both been skilled in their editing skills. Knowing they needed a teacher’s approval to become a bigger club as their family blossomed did they get help from the third year physics teacher, Dr. Brian Wecht PHD. Vernon, having worked with the channel Hot Pepper Gaming was eventually brought into the grumps as well.
As for Suzy, as stated before she was one of the few first members && is the only grump who is not dateable until you complete the other routes followed with Brian. I’m leaning twords having her roommate being Holly or having Holly being the MC’s roommate.

Also wow. idk about indie youtubers, but i imagine people like these dumb theories have their own Game Theory Club
