Article title: College students: getting enough sleep is vital to academic success

The article first talked about how the best way to do well on an exam is to get a good nights rest. It followed with studies show that students who sleep six hours or less each night perform as someone who hasn’t slept in 48 hours. It shared how studies show not getting enough sleep leads to learning and memory impairment, as well as loss of concentration. The article talked all about the different types of people who are more prone to the symptoms of sleep loss (insomnia, sleep disorders, etc). It described how if you have trouble falling asleep you should get up, designate your bed solely for sleep and don’t do your work in your bed, and include a wind down routine.
This will help me not only for our assignment but for my own health. I always thought that if I go to bed late and sleep in then I’m making up for my sleep, but the article says otherwise. It says those who do that are more likely to perform poorly in school. I will be able to use all the tips they gave and word those into questions I can use for my survey.
