Yoonah smiled at him covering her cheeks when he said she’d be the prettiest zombie around. She nodded her head as he spoke about Eliza, “Don’t think I can argue there. I’ve gotten a swat from her on occasion.” she chuckled out.

He snickered, pointing at her cheeks. “Are you blushing? Are you trying to cover up a blush? Did I make you blush? It’s just the truth! You’d be a very pretty zombie.” Insoo nodded. “Not as bad as it is for Zumi though, I’ll bet. Those two share a room, right? Eliza probable lets he have it more often than not.”

“Nope, no nephews in here,” Jiae, shrugged apologetically, though she wasn’t necessarily sure whether or not she should offer to help.  But she had a way with kids that nobody could really explain, so really she knew that she could probably do more good than harm.  “Would you like some help looking for him?”

“Well, damn....he could be halfway across the company by now,” Insoo said jokingly with a little sigh, though he wasn’t that far off. Daegil was sneaky and fast when he wanted to be, leaving a flustered Insoo to play catch up. “I would honestly love some. I mean, don’t feel obligated or anything, because you were clearly busy and working on stuff but...if you can spare so extra eyes, I’d appreciate it.”

“Oh, yeah. An absolute princess–happy attitude and all. You should be forever grateful to whatever supernatural force graced you with my presence.” She snorted, rolling her eyes. “At least mine is unique. You sound exactly like every other pretty little boy band member. There’s nothing special about you. We can do it with music. I’m fine. I don’t need any more help. Especially not from you.”

“Supernatural force?” Insoo repeated with a snort. “What, you think my mom is a unicorn or something? Or maybe a magic fairy? As cool as that would be, she’s a perfectly normal human being. Sorry to disappoint.....” Insoo rolled his eyes, shoving her shoulder a little bit. “Yo, say that again. I like hearing about how pretty I am. I’m pretty damn good looking, aren’t I?”

Jiae had the dance studio to herself and her earbuds in her ears as she ran through the choreography she was trying to figure out before she could teach it to anyone.  She thought that she was alone until she caught sight of a person standing in the doorway in the mirror. “Oh…um hello,” she smiled at the person in the doorway, “Can I help you?”

Insoo wasn’t promoting, which meant he wasn’t as busy as he usually was. Which mean he had time to take care of his nephew, and take that weight off his sister’s shoulders. And since Daegil was such a well-behaved kid, Insoo had no problems with taking the two year old to accompany him at the company. BUt apparently, Daegil was in a mood or something, because as soon as they got on the floor with all the practice rooms, Daegil had bolted and run into one of the practice rooms, and Insoo had to scramble to find him. Smiling apologetically at Jiae, Insoo replied, “Sorry--I thought my nephew ran in here but I guess I got the wrong one. I’ll go look for him in one of the other rooms.”

Kieun raised an eyebrow, smiling a little. “Outgrown it? I’m only twenty-three, I’m still sure I could rock a cute concept if I need to,” she retaliated, laughing herself. “There’s no set date, I was doing more of a concept wishlist sort of a thing as opposed to it being serious,” she admitted, shrugging, “I suppose whenever there’s not another soloist or group promoting.” There was a couple of reasons as to why she wanted to promote as stand alone as she could; she didn’t want to overshadow anyone with half a decade of established success, and she didn’t want to be overshadowed herself as it was her comeback to the music industry - she wanted ti to be special. “Though if I had to pick, fierce summer song sounds exciting.”

He shrugged a little, a dorky smirk on his face. “I’m twenty-three too, but I haven’t been allowed to do aegyo since I was nineteen--my members won’t let me. I mean, I’m sure you’d be able to pass, but wouldn’t it feel super weird>” Insoo pointed out. “That might not be until the end of the summer, then--the subunits are all debuting all rapid-fire like,” Insoo said. “Fierce would be cool. Most of my concepts are fierce. They’re a lot of fun...”

Kieun was one who loved to get a variety of opinions on whatever she did, so, when she was drawing up concept outfits for whenever she’d have her musical comeback she was adamant to get others’ views on what she had designed. “I don’t know if I should go with a fierce concept or maybe more of a chill vibed one. I honesty can’t tell - I like both of the outfit concepts too..” She said, almost disappointed, hoping that one would pop more than the other. “What do you think?”

Insoo put down his phone, ignoring the rapid-fire text messages from his sister for a moment so he could think seriously about what she was asking. “My first thought was a cute concept, but you’ve outgrown that so ignore me,” he muttered with a laugh, pushing his hair back. “When is your comeback gonna be? If it’s spring, I think I’d go with the more chill one, but if you’re planning on the summer, go fierce. Summer’s where it’s at--fierce party anthems and cute poppy summer songs.”

Sage himself already felt like he was dying, so now with the elder leaning against him, it was like his body fighting not to make them both fall to the ground. “You and me both.. fuck..” As much as he loved dancing, today had just been… something painful. “Dead legs? Yea, just a little– is that why you’re leaning against me? Because my legs are probably as dead as yours right now, so if I fall I’m blaming you, hyung.” He was laughing though, not too serious about that. “We could sneak out together? That way they don’t get to kill either of us and our legs can come back to life– hopefully. This new routine might be the death of me..”

“You’re so whiny,” Insoo teased, grinning--the irony wasn’t lost on him. As far as whiny hyungs went, Insoo was probably among the worst of them, depending on who he was with and the mood he was in. “But you’re stronger than me! You’re solid. Like a tree or something. I’m fragile. I’m too cute for this. You have to support me,” Insoo laughed, patting Sage’s arm gently. “Right? I thought Dope was fast--what the hell kind of super-dance is this? At least we’re better off than Yao. He’s too lanky for this shit--he looks like he’s gonna topple over.”

“Ah Young she’s…ah…she had her moments but now that she’s nearly fourteen, she’s matured a lot. But she’s giving my brother a lot of issues, they both call me a lot to complain. My brother to complain about having to raise a teenager girl by himself and Ah Young to complain about me not being there and asking for help.” She laughs softly, shaking her head a bit when Daegil released her hair, one hand coming up to comb through the long strands before she placed both her hands back on the toddler’s mid section as she held him. “Believe me, that’s definitely not how you braid hair, not how Ah Young does. Should I teach you how to braid hair?” She grinned before she laughed again and nodded. “He definitely has. He’s adorable.”

“My sisters call me to complain about each other all the time...which is weird because they don’t even live together anymore,” Insoo mused with a little laugh. “Really, Subin should be complaining to people about me; I’m the one she has to live with...” Both girls used to complain about Kyunsoo constantly, but that wasn’t really happening anymore. Kyunsoo was gone. Although, that didn’t keep his grandmother from complaining. What was that saying about not speaking ill of the dead? He grinned. “Do you want to teach me? I dunno--will I have to braid hair a lot in the future? Is that useful skill for me to have?” Insoo smiled, a little bit of sadness flickering over his face for a split second before he hid it. “Isn’t he? Clearly he and I are related...”

She couldn’t help the giggle that came from her at his words. “Zombie pageant queen. Maybe that should my costume at the Halloween party this year.” Yoonah commented with a shake of her head. “Hey now, no teasing one of my members.” she giggled sticking her tongue out at him shyly. “Your lucky your friends with Eliza, if she heard you say that she may have hit you otherwise.”

“Do it; you’ll be the prettiest zombie around by far!” Insoo said happily, grinning cheekily at her. He shook his head innocently, crossing his arms and resting his chin on them. “I can tease whoever I want. Especially Eliza. She deserves it most of all.” The dancer shrugged. “She’d hit me anyway. She likes hitting people, I think.”

“Definitely. He reminds me of my little sister in a way.” she grinned, taking the small boy in her experienced hands, balancing him on her knee as she looked down at him. Almost instantly, the child would go to tug at her long hair and she laughed, pulling a face as the toddler pulled the brunette strands in multiple directions. “Scratch that. He reminds me a lot of my sister. Ah Young used to love pulling my hair too. She still does, she just tries to use braiding it as an excuse.” She laughed, grinning at Insoo before looking down at Daegil. “But it’s okay, I’ll forgive you.” the twenty two year old sang softly as she held him.

“Is your little sister a brat?” he asked jokingly with a laugh, poking his nephew in the side gently with a grin. He sighed, rolling his eyes. “Dae, stop that--it hurts when you pull people’s hair,” he chastised, reaching out to try to pull the toddler’s little hands away from her hair. “I’ve never braided hair before--who knows? Maybe that’s just how braiding works?” Stretching his arms a little and pushing his hair out of his face, Insoo dropped himself into a chair now that he was free from chasing Daegil around, resting a bit while Hyeri watched him. “Look at you, Dae, I think you’ve got her wrapped around your finger already. You little charmer, you.”

“Thanks for the compliment.” Yoonah said sarcastically with a small smile. Running a hand through her hair she nodded her head, “Didn’t sleep well, and then spent all day practicing choreo for pretty much all of our songs just so I could make sure I still remembered everything perfectly.” she really hated how much of a perfectionist she was sometimes.

“Hey, you didn’t let me finish!” Insoo protested with a snort, smiling angelically at her. “A very nice looking zombie, of course. A zombie pageant queen or something.” He stifled a yawn of his own, curling his feet up so he was cross-legged. “I mean, I admire your dedication, but you’re in the same group as Eliza. Even if you somehow messed up, you’d still look great. She doesn’t even dance half the time, she just stands there.” He was lucky he was close enough with Eliza that she’d laugh at him saying something like that. He was sure she’d probably slap anyone else.

Having spent the day in the dance studio going over choreography making sure she had every single little detail right Yoonah was exhausted. So tired that she hadn’t even been paying attention to the person in front of her who had been talking. “I’m sorry but what? I caught none of that.”

“I said you look half asleep--like a zombie,” Insoo said, trying not to grin too widely. “I was right, wasn’t I? You’re exhausted. Getting ready for a comeback or something? Or just not budgeting your sleep time wisely?” he asked, resting his chin on his hand, giving her something to talk about so she wouldn’t fall asleep on him or anything.

“I know this might be a little weird since we don’t know each other all that well but I can take care of Daegil while you nap or something if you want. You really need some sleep!” The brunette offered, considering she didn’t have a schedule today and it was clear how tired the other one was. “How about I drive and we can go pick him up?” Part of her was a little scared of what would happen if he had to drive while tired, especially since there was so many cases of people falling asleep at a wheel which not only endangered himself but others. “No, I think he’s a producer though? I don’t know, I just know he has his own label. That is a question you’ll have to ask him yourself. That would honestly be beautiful, him being a horrible singer and all. Pretty smart? We’re hella smart. Pft, the only way he could have locked that secret up tight is if he threw it in a vault!”

The offer was certainly tempting. He really needed a nap or something, and while Dae was well behaved, Insoo didn’t trust the kid alone, and why should he? Toddlers were prone to getting into tons of trouble--little angels or not. He sighed, nodding a little. “Right, right. Okay. You can stay though, if you want. I’ve got my own room at the apartment. I’ll just nap in there, and you can make yourself at home. Might be easier to keep an eye on him there, too. All his toys are there, so he’ll be preoccupied with those,” Insoo pointed out. “Of course. I’ll just call him up. I have him on speed dial, you know,” he said with a little laugh, grinning widely. “Oh, of course. Certified geniuses. Even then, we’d get it. Haven’t I ever told you? I was a world-class burglar in a past life.”

“I think you’re cheating,” Yao muttered to the toddler who he kept losing to in rock, paper, scissors, glancing with a smile to the child’s uncle, who was looking on from the side. “This your doing, Insoo? You cheat too. Maybe he takes after you.”

“Right, okay. Daegil, we’re leaving now. You’re not allowed to play with Uncle Yao anymore. He’s kind of a butthead,” Insoo said jokingly, going over to push the leader. “Dae is just naturally good. If you didn’t suck so much, he wouldn’t keep beating you. No mercy, okay Daegil? Make Yao hyung cry.”

“Don’t do that, you’ll ruin your make up.” He points out, watching as the other rubbed his eyes. “Yeah… I can’t relate.“ Hansol’s in a surprisingly pleasant mood despite being running from one schedule to another all day. Plus, he actually likes photoshoots. The bright lights, the spotlight, etc.  “ You can go first, if you want, that way you’ll get dismissed sooner.”

His eyes widened, and he quickly pulled his hand back, smiling sheepishly. “Right. Totally forgot about that--thanks for reminding me,” he said, running a hand through his hair instead--that at least, hadn’t been done yet. “I mean, it’s different for everyone I guess. They just get kind of repetitive after a while.” He smiled again. “You sure? I mean, I’m fully prepared to take you up on that offer, but if you want to go first, I don’t mind all that much.”
