Quick history of FYROM
This is a comment i made a while ago on YouTube, basically tl;dr version of FYROM’s history.
Former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia - Bulgarian Macedonia (Northern Greece) - Greek Macedonia was created in 1944 by the communist leaders of Bulgaria and Yugoslavia, Georgi Dimitrov and Josip Broz Tito as a new state that was incorporated into SFRY. Before the creation of this nation, the population was Bulgarian. Serbians always wanted to convince the Bulgarians living there that they are Serbian, but because they failed, they had decided to create a new nation and state. Macedonia's real name would be Vardarska (the name of the river Vardar), and if such state would be created somewhere else,it would most probably have that geographical name. The cities of Skopje and Ohrid have been capitals of the Bulgarian empire. Greeks hate Macedonians because of their name. After they got their independence from Yugoslavia, they adopted the flag with the Vergina Sun and the name of Macedonia. Greece later copyrighted the symbol and the Macedonian flag was changed, and 'The former Yugoslav republic of' was added in front of the country's name to differentiate the two regions ('Slavic' Macedonia and Greek Macedonia). Greece and Bulgaria deny FYROM's membership into EU and NATO, because of the propaganda against Bulgarians, already explained the disputes with Greece. Macedonian television is literally bombarded with pro-serbian propaganda, calling Bulgarians 'Tatars' and that national socialism existed in Bulgaria as a regime (they have made a whole propaganda movie about it). Macedonian language never existed, it is a modification of the Bulgarian language with added Serbian elements, and it is recognized as a literature norm and not as a language by Bulgaria,Serbia and Greece (I believe Albania too). It was created by famous Bulgarian writers. The country got it's population from the Bulgarian emigrants that were coming from Greece. They were forcefully renamed to Macedonian, some people that refused to be called Macedonian were discriminated and beaten. The 'Macedonian' orthodox church isn't even recognized by anyone.
Summer’s here.
School is finally over (June 15th), which means I will have some time to post stuff. Also, macedonian will not be a language in which the posts are going to be written in. For now it’s english and bulgarian, greek will wait. Expect me posting more frequently.

Getting Started
Hello people.Somehow, the original article was deleted,so I will write a new one. This is the back story of how the whole "Macedonia is Bulgaria" started... Basically, how this blog started in a nutshell.
When I was a fifth-grader,I got to learn geography and history, both really interesting. As I was reading, reading, reading,I came across the country called "Macedonia",so I asked my dad "Dad,what is Macedonia?"
He looked at me and said: "A country created by the communists, which steals our history."
Me,being a fifth-grader,not knowing anything about Bulgaria between 1944-1989,just stayed for a minute, and said "OK,thanks dad".
But now,a few years later, when I have read enough about it,I can say only one word: failure.
Macedonia, or Make-It-Own-Ya is an artificially created country that brainwashes its population with propaganda(e.g. Bulgarians are tatars and Nazis, etc) and any Macedonians with Bulgarian consciousness would be fired from job, thrown in jail, the Bulgarians' human rights there don't even exist,it's like a dictatorship really. No freedom of speech, propaganda, propaganda, propaganda.
This is like self-destruction: They fuck their chance up to join anything.
Greece already vetoed them once.
The "population" of Macedonia is again, brainwashed, calling Alexander the Great a "Macedonian" ( He is greek ) , calling many Bulgarian heroes "Macedonian heroes" and so on.I once read that Columbus was Macedonian, not joking.
Do you want to know the truth? In a nutshell again.
Macedonia was created by the demands of Stalin. It was like destroying your own county really. All Bulgarian immigrants from Greece were forcefully moved to the newly-founded country.
Disputes with Greece
After the collapse of Yugoslavia,Macedonia had to make a new flag, and guess what they had chosen... The Vergina Sun!
I am going to quote wikipedia here:
On 11 August 1992, the newly independent Republic of Macedonia adopted a new flag to replace the old Communist "red star" insignia. The flag depicted a stylised yellow sun centred on a red field with eight main and eight secondary rays emanating from the sun, tapering to a point. This ancient symbol was known as the Vergina Sun or Vergina Star, named after the Greek town where it had been discovered in archaeological excavations of the ancient Macedonian city of Aigai.
The flag, the new state's constitution and its name all became the focus of a bitter dispute between the two countries, during which Greece imposed an economic blockade on the Republic from February 1994. In July 1995, Greece lodged a request with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for exclusive trademark protection to the Vergina Sun. [5]
I have to sleep, but thanks for reading!
