Hello, everyone who’s somehow stuck around all this time. I haven’t been active in a pretty long time, and I wish I wasn’t coming back under these circumstances, but that’s life..
My grandfather has a tumor on his lung. We found out recently, only a few weeks ago. He was coughing up blood. He’d been hiding it, and we don’t know if it was for as long as he said (4 days) or longer. But we understand why. He and my brother live in Venezuela, making the bare minimum even with their own business. My mother is a teacher, and I am doing food delivery with uber at the moment, so neither of us make anywhere near enough to support my grandfather as he needs. Over there, the bills are still not pretty to look at, even with the help of insurance. I am working to become a truck driver so we can generate some more money as fast as we can, but it’s taking a minute, and the tumor won’t wait, so we’re trying to put together as much as we can until I can provide what is needed to cover the bills.
