Hopefully, the soothing sound of gentle bells chiming would be a welcoming juxtaposition compared to the aforementioned bestial examples. Not that the newcomer would receive that, disguised as who she was. The bells weren’t terribly cacophonous, but they were an unwarranted shock for anyone not prepared to have arms thrown around their sides.
She had been looking forward to following behind them, for once, instead of trailing off to tease Dale. Unfortunate that the one offense on the BLU side chose to play the defensive game.
Perhaps it was moreso unfortunate that the Pyro began chattering in the belief that her medic would understand.
Audrey turned at the sound of the bells, seeing a masked figure approach her. Her eyes flicked down to the flame thrower, then back at the blank-face of the mask, Her gut was telling her to flee, but she forced her legs still. She had to act natural and wait for the enemy to pass her by.
Act natural, or you're going to be burnt alive.
She turned her back once again. The footsteps approached. Suddenly, the feeling of the Pryo's arms wrapped around her from behind. There were words, but she couldn't comprehend them.
The facade was over. The spy couldn't keep her cool any longer. She wrenched herself free, firing a single shot from the enormous revolver she wielded. The moment she pulled the trigger, her disguise kit - a Mann Co. piece of crap - short circuited. Tendrils of red smoke dissipated from her body, revealing her true identity.
