I’ve reblogged this before, but not with the ’progress’ shot which is lovely to see. It’s so easy to look at garden blogs and want something like it, forgetting that gardening is a process. There is no ‘finished’, there is only ever the ongoing growth and change of the garden.
Bench - public space
Found on fiore-rosso blog- sevensixfive sketchbook. Pencil.
Atelier le Balto, Berlin. 2011. Pen and colour pencils.
This presentational drawing doesn’t depict an existing spatial situation, but an idea. Perspective drawings are very useful for presentation, but they are also an amazing design tool in the process of design - they helps us visualise how the design will look. Colors in the drawing are abstract, unreal and exaggerated, because they are not important - the form is.
