I’m gonna get into carving jade

I have 0 experience or knowledge in this past my knife not being able to scratch the jade bracelet I wear and jade being really pretty

I’ve bought a large amount of raw jade online to practice with, lets see if I pick this up as fast as I picked up drawing or if I just spent abunch of money on rocks I can’t even process (I also don’t have any equipment for this)

I think for a first cut on some low quality jade with 0 experience this is a gorgeous result and I will definitely be making jewellery with this stone

Also cut into a completely random rock I picked up while mining

Has some cool pyrite bands in it

After a total of 9 hours working it I’ve finished my first jade bead and it is gorgeous

New very scuffed card sleeves drawn by me just dropped

Got the normal and shiny lilligant (5000x7000px)

I don’t like how these look because the flowers were incredibly rushed while I was at work and are entirely the wrong species I wanted to draw hibiscus because it’s one of my favourite flowers I also think I should’ve swapped the flower colours like they did with hisuian lilligant

I’m most likely going to redo these with a simpler background so if you want these ones specifically they are currently up on my Kofi shop and will likely be taken down and replaced once I have a new better looking design made
