Did you know This green seaslug (Elysia chlorotica) is part animal?

Yes… part animal. This seaslug is capable of using photosynthesis, which makes it also part plant! It photosynthesises with genes “stolen” from the algae it eats. Young slugs fed with algae for two weeks, could survive for the rest of their year-long lives without eating because they stored chloroplasts, the cells needed to perform photosynthesis, in the cells that line his gut.
