This weeks module touched on so many topics that it’s almost mind blowing. I find myself analyzing the intersectionality of everything I am exposed to now. Is my daughter just a hockey player? Is she just a woman? Is she just a star student? Is she just a girlfriend? Is she just a daughter? Is she oppressed or reduced for being a female student athlete in a male dominated neanderthal sport with a working mom? Am I being reductionary in my simple analysis of basic hockey sterotypes? Am I over-analyzing what it means for her to survive in this community? Is there a Lady Hockey player student athlete with no active dad twitter community for her? I think I need a glass of wine to settle my busy mind on such a circulatory topic.

Consider intersectionality and pay discrepancy..... add in a new sweatshop platform? How little will ethnic women be paid there?
