29.09.20 / i finally got to rearranging the photos and artwork on my wall. i’m the type of person who thrives when my surroundings are refreshed and organized so i’m feeling extra productive now that i have a “new” desk situation. i’m editing a first draft at the moment while listening to older albums i haven’t listened to in a while. i hope you’re having a lovely tuesday ♡

10.11.20 Prelims are finally over!! I may have two lab reports and an English essay due this week, but I decided to take this weekend to just pull myself back together. This involved dorm chores, hanging out with friends, and buying comfort food at a plant-based grocery store that I stumbled across!

I’m taking it really slow today, journaling about how I’ve been feeling the past two weeks. I treat my journal like a friend I try to catch up about my life because there’s a lot that happened to me recently. I’m trying to clean my physical+online space after a hectic work week. decided to do my chores while listening to the book 𝑛𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑏𝑦 𝑠𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦 𝑟𝑜𝑜𝑛𝑒𝑦 throughout the day since it’s a short read. So far I really love it. April 5, 2020 I woke up extra early today to a beautifully crisp morning — I took  a lovely, refreshing walk and then settled down for breakfast with my family. Hopefully this will be a cozy, relaxing day! I think I’ll continue my current read now, which is The Troop by Nick Cutter.

im working on accomplishing small tasks because im starting to feel overwhelmed with all the requirements that i need to do especially because our finals are coming up next week. im trying not to push myself too much and just check off my to-do list, one at a time.

remember to take things lightly, and don’t punish yourself or feel bad for not being productive. lightly, lightly, we’ll get there ✨
