I think about if you were here what you would have said knowing I was flying to Boston today. Undoubtedly, you would have wanted me to be sweet and remind me "pretty is as pretty does." I'm sure you would have been worried that I didn't pack enough warm clothes (don't worry, Mama Pat, I brought two jackets). Of course, you would have asked "now this is just for a visit right?! I don't want you leaving us." No matter how much I would have reassured her, she would still be calling my mom asking the same things. Lastly though, like you did every time we talked, you would have told me you loved me BIG AS THE SKY! So as I look out this window and see sky all around me, I guess it just gives it a whole new perspective. Today you are celebrating your first birthday in Heaven. Today you are dancing a jig and smiling free of pain and heartache from others. Today I look down at my bracelet, and I am reminded that while you have gained your angel wings you would want me to hold on to love and to love as big as the sky. I am not sure I will ever be as good at it as you were, Mama Pat, but I am going to try. I miss you everyday. 💜

This sweet little angel of mine is T•W•O years old today!! I will never forget going to the hospital to have her being so mad that she came a day early, and I wasn't even REMOTELY prepared!! Little did I know she was just setting a precedent that she would be doing things HER way. You know what? I wouldn't have it any other way because she is a STRONG little woman!! May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them!! Soar, baby, SOAR!! 💜 Happy birthday, my dear sweet Caroline.

Story time 💚 when I was at Hoopla for @everskincare this past September, it was the same weekend one of my very best friends was deploying. Needless to say, I was distracted. I was her Matron of Honor. She stood by me through incredibly difficult times. I had found a life long friend in her. So when it came time for her to leave to bravely fight for our country I was devastated. I've been fortunate enough to chat with her while she is overseas and she said to me "I just want to feel like myself again. What I would give for a spa day!!"
