Chapter 9
Interview with Edir García
Today October 8 we had an interview with Edir García that is a Microsoft engineer. It was really interesting because we talked about some things he do in his job.
At the beginning we had many problems while connecting to skype because the camera was on but we can not hear it so we need to spend like 5 minutes fixing it. First we learned about machine learning, I understand that machine learning is a subfield of computer sciences that use data and yield prediction over that data. Then he explained to us how a computer can identify SPAM messages using binary decision trees.
Something that I like is the fact of see how what we see in math class is related with what we are learning in computer sciences
Exercise 6_18 Perlin Flock
TNoC Exercise: 6.3 The cookie monster follows the monster that is being control by the mouse
A program that simulates a real cucu clock
This program is not made by me, but I consider that is interesting because of the recursive path that follows
Create a simulation where objects are shot out of a cannon.
Using forces, simulate a helium-filled balloon floating upward and bouncing off the top of a window
Building off Chapter 3’s “Asteroids” example, use a particle system to emit particles from the ship’s “thrusters” whenever a thrust force is applied. The particles’ initial velocity should be related to the ship’s current direction.
I think that this project was awesome, I work really well with Damaris, it was funny because first we draw and we plan our project then we began to create the design but it was really funny because we focus more in the design than in the code.
But in general I am proud of my work. :D

This program is a game based on the game of chrome dinosity, this game is a dinosaur that when the user press space the dinosaur jumps, here the user need to jump three different obstacles that appear randomly in an infinite landscape
This is the exercise 1.3 of the nature of code, this program is simulating a ball that bounces inside a box based on vectors
This is the exercise I.3 of the nature of code, this program is a simulation of a random walker that follows the mouse, the colors are also random
