SHEDDING WEIGHT AND MAKING NOISE.
Most people who know me personally will know how serious I take weight, and where do I take it? Off my bike of course.
In the top most picture you can see the bike as it was when I purchased it complete with the stock exhaust that is very quiet and a wee bit heavy in my personal opinion so it had to go, and in the next picture down you can see the replacement exhaust which is a full stainless Dan Moto Carbon GP which is around 2.5kg lighter that the stock exhaust which I purchased a separate db killer for as it was rather loud and a bit annoying on the ears on a relatively long journey.
You may also of noticed that the rear seat has been replaced with a single race cowling and the pillion pegs have also been removed to shed further weight from the bike and as I'm currently riding on a provisional licence I don't need them anyway and in my opinion the bike looks much neater without them.
One more quick thing to note from the comparison pictures is the coloured bolts, which I painted red to make them stand out against the black panels. Also notice the paint missing from the swinging arm where I had previously added a large decal only to decide I didn't like it and whilst removing the decal it also removed the paint but I'll get to that when the time is right.
Much more is planned so stay tuned.
