Monogatari second series (so-so. aka dat plot.)

Street Fighter II: The animated movie (90's at its best)

Kokoro Connect (gimmicky and medioicre)

Speed Grapher (if only for the unlabeled Nikon F)

Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna (SO GOOD. So gorgeous.)

Why hello there! It's been quite some time. I've just been so busy that I haven't had the time to post anything. This will be a quickie, though.

I clearly remember just being comPLETELY confused these last few episodes. I love it. There's just so much to this show. The music is great, as are the characters and the storyline. It's well on it's way to being my favorite show from the summer.

So after seeing so many threads on /a/ about this show I've finally given in to watch it... yes, 10 weeks late... better late than never, deshou?

My thoughts exactly.

Holy cow crap, I swear I could hardly contain myself in this scene. Fucking hilarious.

That srsly looks like someone shat on her face. I like.

Reasons why I've picked up this show and have decided to stick through it? Many:

- Great art quality and animation production.. Out of the current crop of shows that I'm watching, I'd say this one has the best character designs and production values, easily.

- Great music. Catchy OP and ED.. I'll probably grab the soundtrack.

- Cute mascots in the alien/robot penguins

- IT'S ACTUALLY FUNNY, and not even in the stereotypical anime way either. Shit's pretty original in it's humor style.

- Some tasteful fanservice. There aren't (really) any excessive panty shots, unless you count the transformation scene, but I don't. It's just towards the edge of acceptable. Like, enough fanservice for me to enjoy, but not enough for me to lose all respect for the show (ala HSOD last summer...)

Although the lead siblings (twins and sister) are pretty stereotypical anime archetypes (kakoi guy, hesitant to do bad things guy, sickly imouto) I'm enjoying the show. Himari's seiyuu is also a nice change from the typical moe voices that saturate anime these days.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni! 8-10

LOL'd hard.

Frightening.

Dawwww once again.

Where the first season was really episodic with just a ton of fanservice, comedy and action, this season has really turned out differently. I remember watching those first few episodes and getting mad that they weren't as funny as the first season, but esPECIALLY at this point in the show, a lot has actually happened.

There is actually a lot of development between characters and we're finally seeing some progression between Akihisa and Minami! Like, legit progression. And to be honest, coming from the first season, I never thought that it would happen. I had just assumed that Akihisa would continue to be the dense 'main' main character lead who keeps getting girls but doesn't see their feelings, nor harbors any feelings for either of them. But I was wrong. And for that, I'm incredibly thankful for.

A child's first sickness? I never really thought about it before, but usagi drop srsly just made me contemplate how frightening that might be for the parent involved... and how much you'd really need a good spouse to help you through it.

Welp. That's still quite a few year's down the line for me...

I really wish I hadn't gone on /a/ to 'discuss' what "might" happen in the next episode. Spoilers freaking everywhere and ruined this episode for me... other than that, though, it was great.

I didn't think Mayushi would EVER do something productive, but my goodness did she prove me wrong. Pep talk masta!

SO excited to see next week's episode. I'm staying off of /a/, or at least out of steins;gate threads so I don't get this last episode spoiled for me. This is one series that I've truly been enjoying. Great show.

SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS SHOW. OMG.

WHOAA. Some legit fanservice, holy crap.

Everything I wanted.

Up until the end of the episode. Well, knowing that the show's going to end in 2 EPISODES, they're going to have to wrap it up really quickly. Hopefully it isn't rushed. The dialogue this episode was just great. This show is definitely working its way up to my top 5 favorite shows.

And so it's finally revealed to us that even Mayushii can see pieces of the other world lines as well, which was implied to happen with Feyris doing so, so many episodes ago. Loving this show, a lot.. can't wait to see how it ends in just 3 weeks!

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni! 5-7

Well, finally the conclusion to the 3 part? 4 part? school trip series? And I'm quite happy to say that episode 7 was by far the best episode of this second season of Baka to test.

HNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGHHH, she's like a mini Haruhi with long hair! SOOO GOOD.

I loled heartily. Very.

I've been liking this yandere himeji much more than the moeblob from last season.. this way she actually has some feeling, you know?

I really wish there were some spoiler tags or something that I could hide this last picture I want to post.. baahh, whatever.

YESSSSSS. EVERYTHING ACCORDING TO KEIKAKU. (Note: keikaku means "plan") nudgenudge.

I'm really, just so happy with this episode. Everything I ever wanted from this show, happened this episode. More summoning, Himeji getting fucked over, Minami winning, some fanservice, a lot of comedy.

Seriously, episode 7, sooo good. It ACTUALLY felt like I was watching the show I fell in love with in the first season. Thank you, baka to test.

Apologies. I've been ridiculously busy lately and haven't had the energy to blog after watching, but I finally do today.

AWWW SHIT.

What makes me kinda sad is that I saw the plot twist this episode coming a LONG time ago, but only because /a/ spoiled it for me. Pretty sure it would've blown my mind, though. haha.

And now Okabe's in one helluva decision to make. Dude, pick the tsundere. She's easily the best choice. Forget the moeblob.

OMG. So perfect.

Swear, Rin makes me want to raise a child. I feel so good after watching this show, man. Daikichi acts like an actual person rather than just a typical anime character and Rin is just a perfect child.

Srsly, feels good man. I love this show.

Oh, my god. I laughed.

I think this was the first episode of season 2 that I've legitly laughed out loud. But alas, it was only once. The first half of the episode of card playing was such a waste. I hardly cracked a smile.. Second half with the summoned beasts was a lot funnier though.

I know I'm late in picking up this show, but after hearing so many good things about it, I finally decided to pick it up. Annnd I'm pretty glad I did.

Oh... my god. HHHHHNNNNNNNGGGGGGGh-

Seriously, this show is very heartwarming. It really already has a feel of Clannad: After Story in it... which in this case is a good thing. I needed a show to help cheer me up. It looks like Usagi Drop is the show for that precisely. I love to two characters already. I'm definitely continuing this.

I reaaally liked this episode. The conflicting emotions over sending the d-mail and also the fact that Feyris isn't like the other lab members was pretty awesome.

The whole plot of her getting chased by people in the big city was kinda confusing though, because if she just stayed where she had won the tourney, wouldn't like, EVERYONE protect her there? I don't understand why she left the safety of the place, but whatever, it kickstarted this episode's storyline.

Good episode. Also, there's some great discussion going on /a/ right now about time travel. I'm really enjoying this show.
