I keep my sadness to myself. Lot of time it just overwhelms me. I keep myself away from others because I don’t want to be a burden. In these moments or in my depression, I don’t want to hear positive things. I have learned to create more positive self talk, as well as ways to cope with getting overwhelmed or naturally being a sensitive individual in a insensitive world. Society says to be hard and to not cry and to hold it all in...... all in all — I’m fierce.. I’m the goodness, and the sadness. I’m the light that shines, an ember forever glowing.... I’m bright because I’ve lived long times in darkness. . . . . . Tbh I know that was moody - but I’m ok! At the moment of writing it, I needed to write it & maybe someone needs to read it. We all feel things sometimes. And that’s ok!!!
