Louis’ three attempts at getting in the car by himself before mum has to help him 😂
Her Majesty. Platinum Jubilee. Long Live the Queen. Elizabeth II
Nothing will beat the printer of the past.
I REALLY MISS THIS SHOW.
Even though it made me cringe for the last two seasons... because the thing really dropped in quality... I really miss it
If they kept the storyline of season 1 and merged it with the production quality of season 2... Great show.
I was missing it before it was even over. But truthfully, the cringe factor is a part of the show's character.
I just poured too many expectations into a show.
BUT SEASONS 4 THROUGH SEASON 6 SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.
TIM AND TEA: A POWERHOUSE.
THIS SHOW COULD HAVE BEEN WEST WING LEVEL. but declined after season 1

Series Finale Thoughts
Tyne Daly is just spot on. She could’ve taken Senator Hanson’s spot--How entertaining would that have been! She needed to be my first note.
I like how they tried to wrap it all up (the Aquinas joke was worth the wait). The wedding was competing with the ERA, and I just wished they’d have chosen one or the other.
I said at the beginning that I was hoping for at least 2 scenes with the whole McCord family (I’m not counting the wedding). I was being generous. We couldn’t have one scene before or after the wedding? The McCord domestic scenes were a staple.
I want to know why Stevie had to be the focus of this season. Not a Stevie hater, but her relationship story lines felt forced (for, I guess, younger viewers). Which brings me to this: why take up so much of the finale episode with Stevie?
Reflection: I went to DC 5 yrs. & 4 mo. ago. The posters for M-Sec were everywhere, and I built up a little annoyance. It didn’t look interesting to me, at the time.
I was watching CBS Suday Morning and Tim was on, they featured a clip from Season 2, and I knew I had to check it out on Netflix. Yeah, sure, it was a little cliche and simple, but something drew me in. I think that something was the State staff and the McCords. That’s what was missing this season.
I Mean, nothing really was the same without Nadine, and the show lost it’s spark that season, but I was hoping for more with 6.

I really enjoyed the beginning. I was waiting for that thing to reappear. I thought Daisy had it two episodes ago, but it finally came around to haunt Blake.
Really great to see the diplomatic video call again, but the Iran story got buried with everything else going on. Perhaps it was the late night watch, but I found it difficult to follow.
“Thanks, Blake,” I loved that scene.
I was glad to see Jason, but he really got thrown under. I thought his defense was justified, and they could of explored more of what it's like to be the president's kid. I get that the criticism is from the president's son and it's a school blog, but criticism is part of the game. It was strange to see that story line up against “The truthful institution.”Good for Jason for not apologizing, it was a very Jason thing to do.
I’m done with Senator Hanson, he’s just cartoonish.
I think I just miss the old show too much to get into this one. I REALLY miss all the McCords together, and I miss the State staff.
Guy Clark on Townes
Looks like it’ll be on time for me tonight for the first time this season.

What a waste of an episode. I was really disappointed.
Dalton’s return was cringe.
The Elizabeth press room scene was cringe. How much virtue signalling does one show need? Cool, you want to talk about attacks on the press? at least be creative/thought-provoking. The whole execution was predictable, bland, and mirrored current U.S. politics. The whole thing was unoriginal.
Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump... again, unoriginal.
I’ll add a spoiler alert, here
With five episodes left, why did Daisy have to go? she really got robbed of a full exit. Every story line just seems incomplete, but hey, with only 10 episodes...
The Election Win was a let-down.
This had the potential to be interesting, but the writing is lazy. And everyone’s gone.
Okay, we’re 4/10 episodes in and there’s no explanation in the show for Kat, Matt, and Jason’s (obviously, has made appearances) absences. What’s up with that? My money’s on flashbacks, but can’t we get a little insight? It would be easier to follow.
It’s just a little odd.
… All three episodes thus far, MSec has yet to air on time, for me.

I never knew I’d miss so many of the missing as I did last night. I get it this is basically a new show, but it seems too far off. I miss the State Department and the McCord family. Season five should have been the last, maybe.
WHERE is everyone? Can we get some explanation in the show? Sure, we are likely see it all in flashbacks. It would be nice to know, however, early on. Take Jason, he’s in one scene, why hasn’t he had an update?
Why is Elizabeth worried about everything in this episode? I get that she’s supposed to be a cute Idealist, but she was also a badass with some pretty thick skin. It all seemed out of character.
I really liked the Hearing, great scenes. I liked the campaign trail bird (a little cringe-y, but it made sense).
I’ve never cared all that much for Stevie’s love-life, and I don’t know why the writers feel the need to keep going back. That time could be used for something else. The tiny-hat save was cute, though.
This might be the end for me. Sad.

Overall, the show felt fresh, and I liked it.
Many scenes were too quick, though, as if little one-minute clips were pieced together. I’m hoping this changes but with only 10 episodes this might be the norm.
The number of flashbacks could have been cut down. I thought it was a lot of back and forth for the first episode. Also, can I just say, ‘Day 97′ is an odd starting point. I knew it was coming, yes, but imagine if you were a long-time viewer who didn’t follow the summer news. Again a lot of ping-pong here too.
I wish we would have gotten a little update on all the characters (gone and present) in this first one, as well.
I really enjoyed Mike B. in this one. But Russell? It’s fiction so... but never going to happen in reality. Presidents are lucky to get a chief of staff who lasts four years. It’s supposedly temporary, though.
Also, the parallels to the pilot were a nice touch.
I”M STILL HOPING TO SEE ALL FIVE MCCORDS TOGETHER. Can we get a WH kitchen scene?
I’d be really disappointed if the 5 McCords aren't together at least twice next season.
SEASON 1 & 2 WERE SO GOOD, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO CHANGE????
IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.
YOU FELL ON THE 2016 SWORD.
YOU USED TO BE YOUR THING .
YOU HAD YOUR OWN STORY LINES.
YOU BEGAN IN YOUR OWN POLITICAL UNIVERSE.
YOU MIGHT AS WELL USE “REPUBLICAN” AND DEMOCRAT.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WRITERS?
WHY SO MUCH FOCUS ON THE STATE DEPT?
WHERE ARE THE MCCORDS?
I WATCH BECAUSE I HAVE HOPE
