Beltane in Italy! 🌼

In Italy, we do not celebrate Beltane by name.

And yet… its spirit is quietly there, woven into the way we welcome the beginning of May.

May 1st is known as Labor Day, a national holiday. Schools close, many people take time off work, and something shifts in the air…

It becomes a moment to pause, to breathe, to step outside.

Families often travel during these days — even just for a short escape. We go on picnics in the countryside, surrounded by green fields and sunlight… And if the weather is warm enough, some even go to the sea.

There is a feeling of lightness. Of life returning.

In some towns, you can find flower festivals, where entire streets are decorated with intricate designs made of petals — a quiet celebration of beauty and nature in full bloom.

What do you mean when you say you are Jupiterian?

What it means to be Jupiterian, Neptunian, etc...

It means you are more than a simple worshipper.

And no, it is not enough for you to be that God's mortal child.

It means your bond is deeper, that you have been blessed by a God and you have distinctive traits.

How does it manifest in my life? Well, it's many things, I'll only name a few.

For example as a Jupiterian I've always been so lucky. Like ridiculously lucky, and always wealthier than people around me, even during periods of economy crisis. As a Neptunian I've been gifted the Second Sight and, believe me, it's both a blessing and a curse. I've also always been a daydreamer, living in fairytales 24/7.

ive traced back my paternal lineage to the de telia tribe of the abruzzo region, during the medieval time period. at some point, one of my ancestors converted to christianity and forsook our ancestral knowledge while moving to the united states. i wanted to ask is there any advice you could give someone interested in reaching out to their ancestors? how could i reestablish a connection with them? ive spoken to a spirit named lily twice who told me she was from the appalachians, but i havent worked with her.

How to Consecrate an Object

When one wishes to bind the sacred to the mortal, when a jewel, a tool, or a trinket must awaken — thus is the way of Consecration.

I. The Preparation

Cleanse the chosen object, for no dust nor idle touch shall cling to what is meant for the Divine. Lay it upon a fair cloth or a plate of pure metal upon the altar of the god or goddess you serve. Let silence fall, for even the air must listen.

II. The Summoning

Speak the holy names of your deity — all that your tongue remembers and your heart reveres. Offer praise and wine, or incense and flame. Then beseech them:

“Bless this object, and make it thine. May it shield, may it reveal, may it connect me to Thee.”

Name its purpose — for what is unnamed remains unawakened.

III. The Night of Rest

Leave it beneath their gaze until the sun returns. Through shadow and starlight, divine breath shall weave itself into matter.

When morning breaks, the consecration is done. The object now carries the mark of the unseen. It shall no longer serve the mundane — for it belongs to the gods, and to you, between worlds.

So treat it with reverence, for it remembers the whisper of creation.
