Decided to make an Isat side blog! The story and characters have a grip on me o7

This place will mostly be where I noodle around with AU ideas, or share fanart/work, or...keep isat related things?

(like a dog stashing bones...or a squirrel...)

I use #isat noodles for posts on any isat thoughts i got, AU or otherwise ^^

I really like the AU chipper-smol made called the Role Reversal AU, wherein Isat siffrin makes a wish sometime from the future to go back and guide "Loop" (sasapfrin) during their own loops! ( iknowicanbutwhy also made some very fun comics for the au that I chew on)

Silly Cryptid Loop AU : What it says on the tin. Having reformed sometime after the loops, Loop decides- why not! All their other roles are done, might as well be a cryptid next. They stole some clothes that vaguely make them look like a scarecrow, and happen to run into their family previous party one town away from Bambouche. Shenanigans ensue. (it's very silly.)

Savior, Please ( A Post-Game Mirabelle Loops AU): I'm still developing this one, but it involves Mirabelle fumbling herself into her own timeloop right before the group is supposed to head to Kabue (with a strange small town twist!). With events straight out of a horror book, Mirabelle now has to contend with a new, though very familiar, crisis.

Do you ever just think about how the quest to save Vaugarde would have been in vain if the loops didn’t happen? Do you ever think about how even if the party could find all the keys and defeat the King without the shield Siffrin would still just be fully dead? They would’ve won but it still wouldn’t feel like victory. Do you ever think about the sort of twisted imposter syndrome Siffrin must feel, and then by extension Mirabelle when she learns how royally fucked they all would’ve actually been, how they would’ve failed in several ways before even seeing the King? Should they truly be considered saviors? Or do you think that Siffrin might try (and fail miserably) to keep it a secret so she won’t feel that way and instead carry the guilt all on their own….hmmmmm…….hmmmmmm………much to think about……

I actually think it's worse for Siffrin.

Explicitly, if Siffrin doesn't join the party, they (or at least someone) makes it to the King. So they do not need him to make it to the King.

When Siffrin ISN'T leading, the party makes it further than when he IS. And Siffrin is the ONLY person who knows this!
