I tried to base the general shape and colours of these outfits off Byleth’s standard outfits, and I think I did alright :) I gave Bereto a rosary to mimic the splashes of pink on his...shirt? breastplate?

I made a point of giving them both knee braces in appropriate outfits as a nod to their extra armor on the left knee.

Fun fact, feminine frame Byleth is called Beresu in Japanese, and masculine is Bereto, so I have named them accordingly. Despite that, I made sure to give them both they/them pronouns. I also made a point of making two versions of each sim. One with pre Sealed Forest hair and eyes, and one with post Sealed Forest hair and eyes. 

I gave Beresu the Neighborhood Confidante aspiration, to represent becoming a teacher. I also gave them the Loves the Outdoors, Athletic, and Self-assured traits. For Bereto I traded Self assured for Proper because based on their masculine clothing, that is the vibe I get.  For similar reasons of different vibes, I gave Bereto the Renaissance Sim aspiration.

Their favourite colours are blue, black, and green.For hobbiesd, they enjoy Cooking, Fishing, Fitness, Gardening, Research and Debate, Rock Climbing, Singing, and Bereto enjoys Wellness. I don’t recall why only Bereto likes yoga, but this post has taken too long to make already, so I don’t want to change it and have to re-upload my files again.

Anyways, as a fun bonus for anyone who happens to have @cosplaysimmerofficial​’s no longer available Byleth outfit, I’ve made a secondary everyday outfit using said outfit.

I’ve based Beresu’s formalwear off of the DLC Sothis Regalia, and Bereto’s off of the Enlightened One class outfit. Please note in the Sothis Regalia Byleth has green hair and eyes, even pre-Sealed Forest. I tried to represent that with contacts and a hair overlay.

Like with activewear, I decided on a set theme for hot weather outfits. Specifically, the dlc summer uniform. While not copying it perfectly, I tried to stick to beige bottoms, black boots, and white tops, while still trying to represent the characters’ unique styles.

Bereto I just copied it directly, but Beresu I themed after the dancer outfit (again).

I tried very hard to dress Sylvain like every guy who goes through girlfriends like laundry I’ve ever known. Unfortunately, there haven’t been very many. I mainly hang out with goths, softbois, and nerds. Still, an effort was made.

The necklace I gave to every outfit is because he needed something on his neck to balance his low-cut tops, and this was the closest I could find to his FEH summer necklace.

Sylvain is a beautifully complex man, which made narrowing him down to 3 key personality traits a bit of a challenge. Ultimately I decided on Romantic, Jealous, and Genius. Romantic is obvious: He’s an insatiable flirt. Jealous was harder, as he’s not really jealous in the way of the trait. Then again, I find many cheaters also tend to be jealous in their relationships, but that’s not why I chose this trait. I chose it to represent the dark, ugly streaks of anger and jealousy he shows Byleth (and a few other characters) over their different experiences regarding growing up with Crests. Genius felt a little easier. Sylvain doesn’t try to be good at anything, but he succeeds nonetheless. Minimal effort for maximal payoff, and all that. He grasps complex magical theorems that even Annette struggled with, despite her being something of a savant. Him being full of wasted potential comes up in one or two of his more negative support conversations.

For an Aspiration, I was strongly torn between Serial Romantic and Villainous Valentine. While I don’t think either of those are his true life goals, they’re definitely in line with his behaviour. I ultimately went with Serial Romantic, as the bonus trait it gives if you start with it (Alluring) is definitely more fitting than what you get with Villainous Valentine (Dastardly).

As for likes and dislikes, Sylvain’s favourite colours are red and blue, because of his Class colours and Post-Timeskip armour. For hobbies, he likes Acting, Dancing, Mischief, and Mixology for obvious reasons. Less obvious are Video Games and Bowling, which just seemed fitting. He dislikes Research and Debate, to express his distaste for studying and politics.

For the blue lions, I ran into the problem that the perfect shorts for masculine framed sims in every other house were a bit dark in their blue swatch. Rather than trying to find different shorts that came in the right shades of Black, Mustard, and Red, I accepted this and moved on with my life.

Sylvain himself complains about being a northern boy and struggling with the heat, when you go to Ailell in the Azure Moon route. If that’s the case, then the inverse must be true. Sylvain is a living space-heater who has no need of thick winter clothing outside his snowy homeland. If it isn’t -40 (Celsius), it isn’t cold.

(I have family in a City where -40 is a common winter temperature, and I used to spend my winter holidays with them. I can attest to not needing much for cold weather outfits, I have worn tank tops through the snow more than once.)

So I asked which Fire Emblem sim to post next and the first suggestion was Alois, so here he is~ (I will post in order of requests until I run out, then in order of creation.)

Alois Rangeld, Knight of Seiros, loving father, sharer of bad puns, and all around great guy. I love him. I wish he were my dad. He’s also my first ADULT adult, not just Young Adult, so here’s hoping he turned out okay.

For personality, I decided to give him Good, Goofball, and Loves the Outdoors. Goofball for his constant puns, Good for his general positive and helpful demeanor, along with his remorse over having to kill as part of his job, and Loves the Outdoors because, well....  I mean he just does, okay? I considered giving him family oriented, but since I didn’t make his wife or daughter I figured I’d hold off. That being said, it’s a good alternative to Good or Loves Outdoors. As for aspiration, it is clear to me that he wants to be a Joke Star. (Or Super Parent, if you wanna start a family with him~)

Based on his Monastery outfit and his class colours, I’ve made his favourite colours Brown, Red, and White. For hobbies, Alois enjoys Comedy, Dancing, Fishing, Fitness, and Handiness. He doesn’t dislike anything, because he’s a lovely person. I just love him, okay?

What FE3H sim should I post next? The next week is going to be wicked busy for me, but it’s been a while since I posted something because I’ve been too busy making sims so I figure when things calm down on Sunday I can start working on my next post!

Currently I have all of the Deer made, along with Mercedes, Dedue, Sylvain, Flayn, Seteth, male and female Byleth, Manuela, Hanneman, Gilbert, Alois, and the Ashen Wolves.

Finished making all the Deer. Haven’t had the energy to compile CC links, though, so they may change a bit by the time they’re posted and ready for download.

My computer isn’t very good and I don’t have photoshop or anything, so there’s no editing or reshade or ultra graphics here. Maybe someday...

@joliebean‘s Primrose Blouse in Jewl Refined, Lisa Frank & Eos Iridescents

I saw @molluskplaysthesims request for this top in a bright yellow swatch, so I volunteered to give it a go with Lisa Frank to see if it was the right brightness they were looking for, and while I was at it I figured I’d give it a couple of more palettes to boot. I also learned a neat trick and thanks to Jolie’s TOU you actually don’t need the mesh for any of these, BUT, if you have the mesh, the Jewl Refined ones will appear as addon swatches to the original!

Yet another Fire Emblem Three Houses sim!

Dorothea Arnault is definitely in my top 3 Eagles, along with Hubie and Bernie~ I don’t have much to say about this sim, mainly because I’m in a very strong creating mood atm and am only compiling rn because I feel bad sitting on all these drafts >.>

(Dorothea, Mercedes, Sylvain, and Dedue are all made, and Claude is mostly there...)

Everyday:

Inspiration:

For her everyday wear, I wanted to take some inspiration from Dorothea’s academy uniform. And then I...  kind of wound up doing my own thing. It started with her shirt and undershirt, and spiraled. I realized I could totally see a modern Dorothea going for the sexy but classy business woman look. I kept her hat, but decided the tall boots gave different vibes when paired with the tight pencil skirt. In the end, though, I am happy with how she turned out.

Personality (traits, aspiration, likes, dislikes), the rest of the outfits and my inspiration for them, the rest of the CC, and further credits can be found beneath the read-more.

Dorothea is a delightfully complex and nuanced character, but like all sims she is limited to three defining traits. Ultimately I decided to go with Romantic for her flirty nature, Music Lover for hopefully obvious reasons, and Ambitious to represent the strength it took for her to drag herself up from poverty through whatever means necessary. I gave her the Soulmate aspiration to reflect her search for a noble husband during White Clouds, but if that doesn’t feel quite right to you the following aspirations feel like good alternatives: Fabulously Wealthy, Mansion Baron, Musical Genius, and Master Actress. Personally, that last one seems like the best choice to me, but it requires the Get Famous EP.

Based on her canon outfits, I’ve given her pink, red, and black as her favourite colours. I also decided she should like Baroque, Classical, and Romance music to represent her life in the opera.

Dorothea’s hobbies I gave her Acting, Dancing, Piano, and Pipe Organ, again with that opera theme. I also gave her Wellness, because I can see a modern Dorothea choosing yoga to keep limber and emotionally centered. She dislikes Research and Debate, because her dialogues lead me to believe that, while strong willed and opinionated, Dorothea is led by her heart, and more logic-based conflict is not to her tastes.

Much like with her everyday outfit, I wanted to do a sort of modern depiction of one of Dorothea’s in-game outfits. Specifically her post-White Clouds outfit. I’m actually very pleased with this outfit as well, even though I couldn’t represent the silver cinch without it looking off. Perhaps in the future I shall try again...

Like with activewear, I decided on a set theme for hot weather outfits. Specifically, the dlc summer uniform. While not copying it perfectly, I tried to stick to beige bottoms, black boots, and white tops, while still trying to represent the characters’ unique styles.

All my sims use Cien Z Rosa’s no EA eyelashes mod, which can be found here. The realistic eyelashes I used for Dorothea are the accessory ones by @kijiko-sims, found here.  That being said, I imagine she’d be fine with EA lashes (or any others) if that’s your preference :)

As well, I use clarity eyes by @noodlescc, both the default replacements, and the non-default extra colours.
