“Of course! That’s how I tend to get through with that.” Emmeline smiled softly. “Just, anything I can do for help I’d like to help you guys out.”
“I’m sure you’ll be fantastic with them too. They definitely need at least one calming influence that isn’t their parents.”

winding a caramel lock around her hair nervously, dorcas had to be honest. she wasn’t sure what to get the woman who gave her life, taught her valuable lessons and continued to be her rock even through tough times. she deserved more than perfume or a silly card. “ honestly, i have not the slightest clue, ” her words are a defeated sigh as she scans the shelves. “ in a world full of magic, how do i come up short of an idea? ”
Molly offered a gentle smile. “It’s always the thought that counts. As a mother myself, believe me when I say we’d be happy with a handmade card and bunch of flowers picked from a garden.” She laughed. “What does she like to do? Does she have any hobbies?” The other prodded, raising a brow.

“I do just think it’s going to be something that takes time for me to do. It’s just never been in my personality.” Emmeline smiled. “Well, I’m sure I can get Giddy to help me with it.”
“Well then easy does it.” Molly’s grin widens then, a smug and satisfied feeling settling within her. Glad to see that her brother hadn’t made a mess just yet. “Sounds like a wonderful plan.”
She was wiping down the last table in the bar when the bell over the door let out a ring. “We’re closed,” she called out, not sparing a glance backwards. “Come back tomorrow.”
Molly was near enough eight months pregnant with twins, leaving was hardly an option at this point. “Won’t be here long and I don’t want a drink. Just need to wait in here for a while, rest my feet.”
“You can make all the excuses you want, but you really messed up this time.”
“Why?” Molly furrowed her brows then, snatching up one of the brownies in question to see if she could see what was wrong. “Do they taste bad?”
