I'm very excited to announce project #073 of the @steddiebbang 2026! After doing a sci-fi space opera last year, I'm currently working on a new genre that is very dear to me: åñåȽ̮ȏğ ḫ̌ȏȑȑ̮ȏȑ.
We're talking haunted TV monitor, tampered memories, things that look human but probably aren't, weird places that feel both familiar and uncanny...
This project is actually a crossover with a TTRPG game: Public Access. No need to know about it to enjoy the fic, I'll talk about why later in another post, but if you just take a look at the flavor text, you'll see why Public Access and Stranger Things are going to be besties.

Oh it’s 100% the shining. Hell of a way to find out that a, werewolves are real, b, your boyfriend is a werewolf, and c, your roommate could LITERALLY sleep through an animal attack (though admittedly an affectionate one)
btw i love when dubcon is used in fiction as a way to explore characters. i love when characters don’t understand how to “properly” ask for consent because they have never had their consent respected in their lives. i love when traumatized adult characters make potentially unwise choices about what to do with their bodies because they have the autonomy to do so. i love when characters make choices that i personally wouldn’t make, but i can totally understand how they got there. i love when characters have complex, fucked up, unhealthy dynamics, but still care about each other and want to do better. i love when writers trust audience members to read between the lines instead of spoon feeding them moral lessons. i love when characters are allowed to actually fuck up and have mistakes to learn from!
Been trying to practice drawing nuanced expressions and I recruited my friend who’s locked into The Passenger to help me out by providing some references of Kyle Gallner as Benson. That movie is so full of great expressions lol
