If you've ever birthed a baby when you're a part of a church then you know that the worst day ever for your new parent self is your babies baptism. You've got to dress them up in uncomfortable clothes, pass them to a bunch of different folks, all while dealing with everyone you know inside and outside of the church and post partum hormones.
Baptisms are kinda a big deal because they're basically the first step in ensuring your child won't forever be damned to hell of they die before they are of age for a physical baptism. Believe it or not this is rooted in old faith bred from when it wasn't uncommon for babies to die within the first two years of life if not right after they were born.
Thinking about that got me thinking about the papas face marks and how they're all different. It basically led me to the pondering of paps growing up in the clergy, being born into ritual where they are blessed with their own special markings as infants that they then grow into...
That thought produced this 🥰💕 papa iii as a baby in his cute little ritual outfit, his first rosary bestowed upon him. 🥰
Side note: if you've never had a baby or had to care for one, please don't ever expect them to be okay with this cause... they won't be lmao also, note the cute little details 😭💕 everything that makes a baby so sweet 😭
This is still so sweet to me omfg 😭
