i created this blog to spam my thoughts, photos, and love for birds after my little maya (eurasian tree sparrow), hubert, has joined his family up in the sky 2 days ago. my dad found him under our faucet and fell down from the pipe in our terrace but couldn't find the mother, i nursed him for 10 days from a naked nestling to a soaring fledgling!
he has given me so much hope but left a profound imprint in my heart that i will cherish forever. spending my time with him in the midst of a battle within myself has healed some parts in me and in a way, reconnected with my grandma who loved birds and her garden they found sanctuary in. i want to continue spreading this love across all bird species that i discover. i love you hubert, i bet you're eating all the freshest worms out there 🪶💗
