I can't believe Naruto fans still fall prey to the "Uchiha curse of hatred" garbage that was perpetrated by Tobirama. Or at the very least took root from Tobirama. Uchiha racism at its finest. The Uchiha had every right to be angry at their treatment. It doesn't mean they are at heart an evil people. Give me a break come on.
The Uchiha did nothing wrong. You can fight me on that. Wanting to rebel against Konoha a much bigger threat than the Uchiha can ever be was never wrong. Don't come to me pointing fingers at the sharingan when Konoha is at the least a population of 50, 000 citizens and the Uchiha were at the most 500 citizens, only a few of who possessed the sharingan and even fewer possessed the mangekyo.
I will always be pro Uchiha and some of you need to revisit the manga. Misinformation and bias and favoritism is rampant in this fandom against my clan.
I mention it sometimes in my Uchiha muses' threads, but that's for their internal thoughts from having heard it. Do I believe they're evil? Absolutely not. Do some of the Uchiha that I write think they could be? Absolutely yes. Sadly a lot of the fandom is not nearly as nuanced.
Writing a narrative in RP is valid and works from a character's point of view. I can see some of the Uchiha doubting their own inherent goodness as a character. I just don't understand how can fans outside of the rpc convince themselves that the Uchiha deserved to be wiped out or even that they carry inherent evil in them because of everything that happened between the Uchiha and the Senju, or even that the curse exists "rightfully". It's fiction even in canon. It also stems from Itachi hate, which is a whole other mess.
I absolutely agree. Like I may let my muses question it, both Itachi and Sasuke have reasons to consider if their actions are truly evil. But I could never believe it was really a thing. It saddens me the way this fandom has such a need to find ways to dislike the things in canon instead of liking or disliking it just for what it was. Like do I add depth around, or completely remove, the whole orphans left to live on their own like they're magically fully capable just because their parent(s) died? Absolutely. Am I going to make wild judgement calls against all the adults who canonically didn't act against it? No. Bad writing is bad writing and we gotta do what we can to fix it.
