While scrolling through a Bosnia roleplay page on Facebook, I came across this photo I've never seen before. I was fascinated by it since it featured a pairing I take a liking to so I decided to redraw it
I'm not enitrely sure of the photo's origins, but considering it's drawn in a Pantira-esque style I think it was supposed to be used in the video but was left out.
In case you forgot, this is my Banja Luka oc. I haven't been drawing him much lately...but I still love him. Here he's having some coffee in the early morning, which explains the greeting in the title.
Here is Enis praying (a rare occasion). I forgot how much I love drawing him...I'm already thinking about how I'll draw him next, I'm thinking about drawing out how Enis would be like if he was from Mostar, but I'm not sure if you'd be interested in that.
Except it's less about what perfumes they wear and more about what they generally smell like based on their environments, and I wasn't really serious about it.
From how heavily he smokes, the smell of cigarettes is all that reeks off of this guy. He’d either put too little cologne or spend half the bottle to “smell nice” but it's the most suffocating scent known to man, and doesn't manage to hide the lasting smell of cigarettes ever. Enis just generally smells like coffee, tobacco, and stale clothes. Hanging around dingy Sarajevo pubs probably has him smelling of booze on the long days.
Much like Enis, Vuk gives off a mix of beer, tobacco, and your grandmother's old house. Stale, he’s stale. You can’t look me in the eye and tell me this man does his washing every day. He wouldn’t stink, but you’d ask yourself if he puts on any cologne at all. (Most days he walks out of the apartment forgetting to put on anything.)
Would this make for a great smell? No, but it's gay and cunty enough for Dražen. And no, he wouldn’t smell like the Dalmatian coast. This guy reeks of the Zagreb city life. Definitely wears some expensive cologne, though, not too strong nor light. Just enough to turn a few heads in his direction.
Idriza holds earthy, herbal notes from working in her gardens constantly, and I could see her using essential oils a lot more rather than perfume. Or in combination with perfume. She’d prefer lighter perfumes, something that won’t have her head spinning. Mostly smells like the rosemary oil she uses for her hair, and a slight skin musk after a hard day. Forget me not because #MonteHerze
I need this man to give off the harsh scent of nature and animals in the nicest way possible. Like cold mountain air in early spring, with the warm scent of wool that's been worn out over the years. He'd probably wear some cheap as hell cologne whenever doing his duties around the city and outside the country, but I imagine he doesn't bother with much when he's up alone in the countryside. I could see him using essential oils as well, maybe. Idriza probably brings him something on her brief visits. Forget me not because #MonteHerze
This woman definitely likes to spend her time curating and choosing an array of perfumes, might even use two different ones on the same day. And she'd use some heavier ones too, something to really tickle your nose. Probably overly fruity, bold, and sweet. But they're all older lines that came out like 10 years ago, and Tatjana probably triggers someone's nostalgia walking by. Definitely leaves a cloud of perfume behind herself.
He actually smells nice. Perfumier than Dražen, and expensive too. Not as heavy with it as Tatjana, though. Except when he hits his drinking streak; sweat and a mix of cocktails, wine and beer. Alcoholic Slovenia headcanon but he doesn’t take it with as much grace as the others.
