Summary:

Zuko, now the Fire Lord, has been attracted to Sokka for years but never acted on his feelings. Now Mai and he have broken up, and the rest of Team Avatar is coming to his palace to visit. Meanwhile, after a trip to the Spirit World and his own breakup, Sokka is suffering from unusual symptoms. Maybe they can help each other.

the problem with zuko being the poor fandom meow meow is that so many a:tla fics are basically “look at how much our boy suffered. everyone should feel bad for him and give him hugs and love him” and like i’m sorry i really can’t roll with that lmao.

like i like zukka but i feel like so many zukka fics are about zuko’s emotional damage and how sokka (+ the rest of the gaang) need to help him heal.
