I would never pursue my best friends sexually or romantically for a variety of reasons—and I generally never even think of them that way— but one of my best friends irl, a guy I've known for over a decade and talk to every day, told me he had a dream where he was beaten up by some guys and stranded helplessly in the woods, and I came and saved him. I overpowered the bullies or something, built a shelter, and started a fire to take care of him. He literally said, "you were like a God who'd come to save me." You can't just say that to me and not have me think about it for days, dude 😭

Comment on fics, kudos fics, come back to a fic - read it again - go to kudos and realise you've already kudos then tell the author you are back once again

Do whatever you can to let the author know that you like what they wrote, even if it's a single emoji in that comment section ok?

LET THE AUTHOR KNOW YOU LOVE THEM because a lot of fic authors don't know that, and they need too. Let them know that they are loved

I don't check emails and have notifications for everything turned off, so I never know if someone leaves a kudos or comment on my stuff until I manually check. Even then, I just look at comments because as nice as kudos are, I just don't think about likes very much. But then that made me realize how I never leave kudos or subscribe to other authors on Ao3, either. I just check their pages manually and leave comments when I love something I read, which to me feels like a labor of love, but then I started panicking I seem rude 😵‍💫 I will say I put a lot of heart into my comments, though 💕 words to me are one of the highest forms of love.

Aw, I like Sky even better now after watching more of Love in the Air 😭 I love the focus on nightmares and constant pressure on himself academically and to be the best resulting from his trauma 🥺 Relatable 😮‍💨

I finished Bad Buddy (I always want to type Bad Bunny like the singer 🤣), and it was very sweet and cute, but I do like series to be sexier. Just wishing for a kiss every episode is kinda not enough for me.

Now I'm watching a rec someone gave, Love in the Air. Another problem I have with BL is noncon territory—any reader or viewer of yaoi knows what I mean. I personally wish some of that could be reduced at the start, but once the story gets beyond that (pretty fast, thankfully), I'm enjoying it. The actors have a lot of chemistry. I like Sky and Prapai even more than the main couple because Sky's actor is just so cute and sexy. His personality and smile 😭 After this, I'll probably try some more anime recs.
