Summary: You work at a dinner and you had you got your paycheck from it. You spent it on Michael Jackson concert tickets. Once you got there, Michael laid his gaze on you.
Pairing: thriller era! Michael Jackson x reader
Warning: fluff, falling in love, holding hands, Michael laying his eyes on you, you blushing like an tomato.
Side note: I was on a long break because I didn’t know what to write. I finally thought of something to write! This fic may be trashy. So please request something for me. This maybe be a short and sweet fanfic! This is made with love, joy, daydreams, and lots of thinking. I hope you will enjoy!
You have always wanted to go to a Michael Jackson concert. When you got your paycheck for the week, you did not hesitate to buy a ticket. You felt a mix of excitement and nervousnes. The concert was this weekend! You had already asked your boss if you could take a sick day.
Your boss agreed. You drove home acting casual, while your mind was jumping up and down with excitement. Eventually, you pulled into the driveway of your home.
Once you came home, your mom was cooking eggs in the kitchen with some bacon and your dad was helping stir the butter. Your parents warmly greeted you “ oh, hey there, we are having some eggs and bacon for dinner today! Go wash up and help set up the table.” Your mom said, while flipping the bacon.
You headed to your room, still thinking about those Michael Jackson tickets you bought. Once there, you grabbed some comfortable clothes and brought them with you to the bathroom. You took a shower and changed into your fresh outfit.
After you were done, you went to the dining room to help set up the table. Your mom brought over the food, while your dad was pouring water into everyone’s glass. “So, tell us about your day,” your mom said while serving the food onto your plate.
“Well, I got my paycheck from the dinner today, so I spent on a Michael Jackson ticket!” you said, while wiping your mouth on a napkin.
“That’s nice, sweetie! Our girl is growing up!” your dad said playfully, while nudging your arm.
After dinner, you got up and washed your dish while your mom and dad finished up. You headed to your room, holding a newspaper about Michael Jackson. Once you got to your bedroom, you crashed onto your bed almost immediately. You set the paper down on your nightstand.
You were over the moon with joy. Tomorrow, you were going to the Michael Jackson concert. You couldn't sleep because of how excited you were, but eventually, you fell asleep.
The next morning, you made sure to wake up not too early or too late. You went to the bathroom to brush your teeth. Once you were done, you headed to the dining room as your mom was making breakfast for you. “Good morning, how did you sleep?” your mom said, with a soft smile.
“Pretty good, I was too excited to sleep,” you said, with a slight giggle.
“when you to the concert, don’t do anything stupid.” your mom said, not looking up.
“Got it!” you said, with a slight grin. Your mom was so busy flipping pancakes that she didn’t notice what you might actually do at the concert.
After breakfast, you went out to buy groceries, coffee, and some clothes for the concert. You still had a bit of money left over from your paycheck. You first went to get coffee to wake yourself up a bit.
You grabbed your warm coffee and headed straight to the clothing store downtown. Walking through the aisles, your eyes scanned the racks until you found exactly what you were looking for an elegant, glamorous jacket that matched what you were looking for.
You paired it with a crisp white shirt and cute lace shorts, smiling at your reflection in the dressing room mirror. The outfit was absolutely perfect.
You went to get the groceries and immediately went home after. Once you got home, you went to your room to get ready for the Michael Jackson concert. You just knew that it would be one of the best concerts you would ever go to.
You first got changed, then you got out your curling iron for a glamorous blowout. You were excited and over the moon. All you could think about was the concert. You packed a bag full of essentials like a digital camera, a watch, and a water bottle.
You put on your heels and headed for the door. When you got to the car, you were so excited and ready for the Michael Jackson concert. You knew that you would have the best time there.
You started the car and played your favorite Michael Jackson song. You drove toward the stadium, feeling your heart beat fast.
Soon, you saw a huge crowd of people. Many fans were wearing cool hats and cool shirts. Everyone was smiling and laughing.
You parked your car and walked to the entrance. You could hear the loud music coming from inside. You smiled because your dream was finally coming true.
You walked inside the stadium and showed your ticket to a worker. The worker smiled and pointed up a big bunch of stairs.
You walked up the stairs, following the sounds of the cheering crowd. The stadium was huge and filled with bright lights.
Finally, you found your section and walked down the row to your exact seat. You sat down, gripped your bag tightly, and looked down at the massive empty stage. You were finally here.
The stage shined a spotlight right in the middle. Michael stood still in the center of the beam. You were absolutely shocked and excited.
The first song was “Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'.” At that moment, you thought you were going to faint. But your little camera caught everything.
Then, Michael’s eyes found yours. You were absolutely stunned. You were making direct eye contact with Michael Jackson, and he couldn’t keep his gaze off of you.
Before ending the concert, he gave you a slight smile. You turned redder than a tomato, and your mind went absolutely blank.
You could not believe it. Michael Jackson had just given you a slight smile, and everything that was on your mind was gone.
While you were walking away after the show, Michael caught up to you. 'Hey! I thought you were really pretty, and I was wondering if you wanted to walk with me?' he said shyly.
You couldn’t even process what you were hearing. You couldn’t even believe it. “Of course!” you said, though you had no idea what to do next.
You and Michael walked until nighttime. During those hours, Michael fell deeply for you. He thought you were the most beautiful woman on the planet, and you had fallen completely for him, too.
You guys had a lot in common. Michael learned quite a few things from you, and you learned just as much from him.
“I know we just met, but I really find you to be a very special and beautiful person. Would you be my girlfriend?” Michael said, looking shy and nervous.
You did not expect that. Your mouth hung open until you finally said yes.
Michael gave you the warmest hug ever. You guys continued the walk, holding hands.
Summary: You were selling orange juice at your shop and Michael came over
Pairing: Bad era! Michael Jackson x reader
Warning: fluff, falling in love with michal, kissing.
Side note: I’ve been trying to post daily everyday! This is what i scraped up together. Short and sweet fanfic. This is made with love, joy, daydreams, and lots of thinking. I hope you will enjoy!
You had been selling orange juice at your shop for a living. it was doing good in business, bring in a large incom. The shop that you bought to sell orange juice was just the right size. It was a comfortable and a cozy little place.
You had never thought that any big pop star would come to your orange juice shop, most likely because it was more like a convenience shop. But one day, Michael came into your shop.
One day, you were just doing your usual shift at the shop before another employee took over. Then, Michael came into the shop and walked up to the counter to order an orange juice. Your mind was blown. You were so confused and shocked. The Michael Jackson had just come into your orange juice shop.
You had no words to say. “Hello, how can I help you today?” You said, trying to keep a straight face.
Michael was looking at the menu. “I think I’ll have the orange juice with a little bit of lime.” He kept his composure.
You kept your hands steady as you grabbed a fresh glass. You carefully squeezed the oranges, making sure not to drop the juicer, and added a perfect splash of fresh lime. You wanted this to be the best drink he had ever tasted.
While you were making the orange juice in silence, Michael broke it. “You know, you are really pretty. Can I take you out for coffee later?”
You finish up the orange juice. “sure” you said, while handing over the juice to Michael.
Michael took a sip of the orange juice “that is a really good orange juice.” He said.
“Thanks, I tried my best.” You said, sounding really calm.
He took you out to coffee. The two of you walked over to a quiet, dimly lit cafe just down the street where he could avoid the paparazzi and the screaming crowds.
Sitting across from the Michael Jackson at a small wooden table felt completely surreal. He was wearing his signature fedora tilted down slightly, but he looked completely relaxed. As he stirred his drink, he looked up and smiled, completely ignoring his global fame and just treating you like an old friend.
“You know,” Michael said, leaning back in his chair with a gentle smile, “it is rare for me to just sit down and enjoy a quiet conversation. Everyone usually wants to talk about my music or my tours. But I want to hear about you. How did you start your orange juice business and why did you start it?”
Hearing him ask about your normal, everyday life made your jaw drop all over again. You took a slow breath, trying to process the fact that the biggest star right now on earth was genuinely interested in your shop.
You cleared your throat, trying to find your voice. You told him how you had saved up for years, working long shifts just to buy that perfect, cozy shop. You even let him in on a little secret that you hand squeeze the oranges every single morning to ensure the juice is always fresh.
Michael listened intently, nodding along with genuine interest as if your story was the most interesting thing he had ever heard.
Soon it was getting late, and the afternoon light outside the cafe windows began to fade into a dark night sky. Michael glanced down at his watch, a hint of sadness passing over his eyes as he realized their quiet escape from the world was coming to an end.
Instead of saying goodbye there, he insisted on walking you home to make sure you got back safely. As the two of you strolled down the quiet sidewalks together, a wave of deep exhaustion from your long shift at the shop suddenly hit you.
You were very tired from working all day at your orange juice shop. Your feet slowed down, and you felt like you could not stay awake. Your eyes closed, and you could not open them.
Before you even realized it, your eyes grew incredibly heavy. You leaned over and completely fell asleep on his shoulder while walking, your steps slowing to a gentle steps.
Michael stopped walking right away so he would not wake you up. He looked down at your peaceful face on his jacket. He smiled because he knew you were very tired from your hard work.
He leaned down and softly kissed your forehead. It was a very sweet and quiet kiss. Then, he put his arm around you to hold you up, and he walked you the rest of the way home.
Side note: I finally got a fanfic idea! This fic is such a sweet fanfic. Most definitely a short and sweet fanfic. This fanfic is made with love, joy, daydreams, and lots of thinking. I hope you will enjoy!
Every day, Michael asks you for a pet. Ever since you two got together, he has wanted a pet that you both can share. You thought it was pretty sweet that he wanted a pet with you, but every time, you would say no. You didn’t know how to take care of a pet and weren’t willing to
One day, you finally thought about getting Michael a pet. You knew what his favorite animal was. The two of you had been dating for long enough, so today was obviously the day you were going to surprise him.
When Michael left for the studio, you slowly got up, waiting for his car to leave. Then, you started planning. You grabbed your keys, walked out to your car, and drove to the pet store.
The pet store was loud, but your mind was entirely focused on finding the perfect pet to your lives. You walked past the standard aquariums and bird cages, heading straight toward the special exotic section. There, waiting for you, was a beautiful, gentle baby exotic animal, the exact kind Michael always pointed out in books with that childlike wonder in his eyes.
After finalizing the paperwork and loading up the back seat with blankets and starter supplies, you drove back home, your heart racing with nervous excitement.
The drive to the specialized exotic animal handler took forever, your hands gripping the steering wheel tight with a mix of excitement and pure nerves. Michael had been spending grueling, twelve hour days in the recording studio, pouring his soul into his music. He deserved a reason to smile, and you knew exactly what would do it.
The box sat safely in the front seat next to you. You could hear small movements coming from inside, which made you feel both excited and nervous. Finally, you pulled up to the big security gates of the house.
It was getting dark outside. Michael had been inside that dark music room for days, working hard to make his songs perfect. He was exhausted.
You took a deep breath to calm down. Then, you lifted the heavy box and walked quietly through the thick front doors of the house, ready to give him his surprise.
You walked down the long hallway toward the living room. There he was, sitting on the big couch with his eyes closed. He looked so tired.
But as soon as the box made a small scratching sound, his eyes opened fast. He looked at you, and then he looked down at the box with a big, curious smile.
"What do you have there?" Michael asked, his voice soft and high.
You smiled and carefully put the box on the floor right in front of him. You undid the latch on the door and stepped back.
A tiny, hairy hand reached out of the opening, gripping the edge of the box. Then, a small baby chimpanzee poked its head out. It had big, round ears and bright, smart eyes. It looked around the room, let out a soft "oo oo" sound, and hopped straight into Michael’s lap.
Michael gasped, his eyes going wide with pure joy. "Oh my goodness!" he laughed, a huge, beautiful smile breaking across his face.
Michael got up holding the chimpanzee, pulled you into a hug, and kissed your forehead.
Summary: You and Michael were two different people. His celebrity crush is you, nobody knows that you are. He dedicate himself with music and you dedicate yourself with modeling and acting. You had interacted with him a few times at events, but one day everything changed.
Pairing: thriller era! Michael Jackson x reader
Warning: fluff, yearning, Michael writing songs about you.
Side note: I wanted to write a fanfic today for yall, but I didn’t have any ideas so, this is the only idea I have. It’s short and entertaining fanfic. This fanfic is made with love, joy, daydreams, and lots of thinking. I hope you will enjoy!
Michael had always had the biggest crush on you. He found you to be a very kind, passionate, loving, caring, and patient person. Not many people knew about his feelings, and you certainly never realized he had a crush on you. Because of this, he would sometimes get incredibly nervous talking to you at events.
One day, when he was working on the song 'The Lady in My Life' for his album Thriller, he had no idea who to write it for, until you crossed his mind. He instantly knew exactly what lyrics to use.
He looked across the mixing console at Quincy Jones, who was sipping coffee and looking over the track sheets.
"Q, I've got it," he said, his eyes bright with excitement. "I know exactly where this song needs to go."
Quincy lowered his mug, a curious smile spreading across his face as he leaned back in his chair. "Alright, Smelly, let's hear it. Who is the lady?"
He took a deep breath, a slight flush hitting his cheeks. "It’s about someone special," he whispered, gesturing to the notebook now covered in fresh lyrics. "As soon as she crossed my mind, the whole melody just locked into place."
Quincy looked at the lyric sheet, then back up at him, a knowing grin breaking out. "Well, don't just stand there. Get in the booth and cut it."
He stepped into the dimly lit vocal booth, pulling the heavy headphones over his ears. Through the double-paned glass, he could see Quincy adjusting the sliders on the massive mixing board.
"Alright, Smelly," Quincy’s voice crackled through the monitor. "Let's take it from the top. Let the music tell you what to do."
The baseline started, deep and slow, filling the room with that unmistakable Thriller groove. He closed his eyes, gripping the lyric sheet tightly in his hands. The image of her flashed across his mind again—her laugh, her smile, the way she made the rest of the world fade away.
When he leaned into the microphone, his voice was pure magic. Every word of "The Lady in My Life" came straight from his soul, dripping with a tenderness that had everyone in the control room completely silent.
Quincy stood up from his chair, staring through the glass with wide eyes. He didn't even wait for the final note of the keyboard to fade out before hitting the talkback button.
"Smelly," Quincy said, his voice unusually quiet and filled with awe. "That was it. That was the one."
Inside the booth, Michael slowly opened his eyes and let out a long breath. He blinked against the dim lighting, a soft, humble smile appearing on his face as he set the lyric sheet down on the music stand. He reached up, slipped the heavy headphones off his ears, and hung them on the microphone stand.
When he stepped back out into the control room, the engineering team was still sitting in stunned silence. Quincy walked right up to him, clapping a heavy hand onto his shoulder. "I don’t know who you were thinking about in there, brother," Quincy grinned, shaking his head. "But don't you dare change a single word."
Michael offered a shy, gentle laugh, looking down at his shoes as his cheeks warmed up again. "I won't, Q," he promised softly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I promise."
He walked over to the console and picked up the handwritten lyric sheet, folding it carefully into quarters. He slipped it safely into the inside pocket of his red jacket, patting it twice to ensure it was secure. It felt less like a piece of paper now and more like a captured piece of magic.
Saying a soft goodbye to the crew, Michael stepped out of the heavy studio doors and into the cool, quiet California night. The stars were bright above Westlake Studios, but all he could hear in his head was the fading echo of the melody they had just built. Instead of calling a car, he started walking, his boots clicking softly against the pavement. Looking up at the passing streetlights, he smiled. He hadn't just written a song tonight; he had written a piece of his heart.
He was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn’t notice you walking from the opposite direction. He bumped right into you under the glow of a streetlight, the sudden jolt snapping him out of his trance. "Oh, man, I am so sorry," he stammered, stepping back and rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish grin. "I completely spaced out."
You look at him, realizing just how exhausted but entirely alive he seems.
"No worries at all," you say, offering a reassuring smile. "It's a beautiful night to space out."
Michael lets out a soft laugh, the tension leaving his shoulders. He looks down at his hands, then back up at you, the fading adrenaline of his studio session still humming in his eyes. "Yeah, it really is. Sometimes the night just takes over, you know?"
Summary: one day, Michael took you to Disneyland, where a massive surprise was waiting for you.
Pairing: thriller era! Michael Jackson x reader
warning: fluff, going to Disneyland, kissing, you getting emotional.
Side note: This is supposed to be an entertaining fanfic! This will maybe be a short and emotional fic. This fanfic is made with love, joy, daydreams, and lots of thinking. I hope you will enjoy!
You and Michael have been dating for two years. He had always wanted to marry you, but you always shut him down by saying, “We are not ready yet. Give it a couple more years.” Though Michael was disappointed, he was deeply understanding. At times, you thought about marrying him too, but you would always convince yourself that it just wasn't time yet.
One day, Michael asked if you wanted to go to Disneyland since he had a whole month off. You eagerly agreed.
Michael was just as excited as you were about the trip-if not more. For weeks, he had been secretly hoping you would agree to Disneyland, practically holding his breath until you said yes, all because he had a massive surprise waiting for you there.
The drive down to Anaheim was filled with his unstoppable, childlike energy. Even behind his oversized sunglasses and a clever disguise to keep the paparazzi away, you could see the brilliant flash of his smile every time he looked over at you. He was completely relaxed, a rare sight for the biggest star in the world, thriving on the fact that he had a whole month off just to breathe.
You tried to match his joyful spirit, but a familiar, heavy knot tightened in your chest. Michael had always been vocal about wanting to spend the rest of his life with you, and you couldn't shake the feeling that this highly anticipated surprise was tied to that exact dream.
Once inside the gates, the park became your private sanctuary. Michael knew every hidden corner of Disneyland, holding your hand tightly as security quietly guided you both through the VIP entrances. He was incredibly attentive, buying you matching Mickey ears, laughing like a kid on Peter Pan’s Flight, and treating you with a gentle tenderness that made your heart ache. He didn't bring up the heavy discussions about commitment that had caused quiet, strained moments at home; he just wanted to soak in the magic with you.
As night fell and the fireworks began to burst over Sleeping Beauty Castle, Michael guided you away from the main crowds to a secluded balcony area that his team had cleared out. The colorful lights reflected in his eyes as he turned to face you, his excitement suddenly shifting into a nervous, vulnerable focus. He reached into his jacket, his slender hand pulling out a small velvet box.
"I know you've told me we aren't ready to get married yet," Michael said, his voice dropping to a soft whisper over the sound of the distant music. "And I promise I will never rush you. But I've been waiting for this trip to show you that I am completely yours, and I'll wait as long as it takes for you to be ready."
He clicked the box open, revealing a breathtaking diamond ring that caught the flashing colors of the fireworks exploding over the castle. Before you could even catch your breath, Michael took a step back. Slowly, deliberately, he sank down onto one knee right there on the secluded balcony.
The casual, playful man from earlier was gone, replaced by a vulnerability that made him look completely stripped of his global superstar status. He was just a man in love, looking up at you with wide, hopeful eyes.
"I know you said we need a couple more years," Michael said, his voice trembling slightly as he held the box up toward you. "And we can wait as long as you need. We don't have to rush to an altar tomorrow. But I want the whole world to know you're the one for me. Please, let me be your future. Will you marry me?"
The tears you had been holding back all evening finally broke free, blurring the brilliant colors of the fireworks overhead. Seeing him on one knee, completely stripped of his global fame and showing you only his raw, vulnerable heart, made all of your past hesitation melt away in an instant.
"Yes," you whispered, the word rushing out of you before your fears could try to stop it. "Michael, yes!"
A radiant, breathless smile broke across his face—the pure, unfiltered expression of joy that always made him look entirely ageless. He stood up quickly, his hands shaking slightly as he slipped the stunning diamond ring onto your finger. It fit perfectly. Without a second thought, you threw your arms around his neck, burying your face into his shoulder.
Michael wrapped his arms tightly around your waist, lifting you slightly off your feet as he laughed, a sound of sheer relief and happiness that was completely drowned out by the grand finale of the fireworks above. He held you close, burying his face in your hair, whispering how much he loved you over and over again against your skin.
summary: Prince hosts a party and invites you and Michael. When you are alone, Prince tries to win you over. Michael does not let anyone hit on his girlfriend.
Pairing: thriller era! Michael Jackson x reader
Warning: flirting, sort of fighting, throwing stuff.
Side note: This will be a pretty long and short fanfic. This is my first time writing a fighting scene! I will try to improve. I hope you will enjoy!
One day, you and Michael were sent an invitation to a prince's party. A lot of other famous people were invited, too. You and Michael thought about it for a while until you both agreed to go. Michael did not like the idea, but what could go wrong?
“Honey, this seems sketchy. ” Michael said in a worried tone.
You thought about it for a while “A lot of other people are also going. You have nothing to worry about.” You said trying to make Michael keep his guard down.
Michael still had his guard up, but he eventually agreed to go. He let out a heavy sigh. “When is it?” he asked, his tone completely flat.
“It’s tomorrow night at 8pm” you replied in the flattest tone you can.
Michael simply nodded. He kissed your forehead gently before turning to head to bed.
The next morning, you woke up before Michael and went to the bathroom to get ready. By the time you finished, he was still fast asleep. You walked over, gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead, and left to run some errands.
As you were walking, your mind kept running and mapping out all your errands. Your mind was so busy you were almost to the coffee shop. When you went inside, the bell above the door rang. You had arrived pretty early, so there weren't many people or a long line.
You got your usual order, which was a bacon and egg sandwich and a coffee to get energized. Right after you drank your coffee, you sorted out all your errands for the day.
When you got home after the long day, Michael was already in his suit, ready for the dinner party Prince hosted. You placed the groceries in the fridge and freezer, then went to get changed. You wore a formal black dress that matched Michael’s suit. The outfit was classy, elegant, and beautiful.
Michael took your hand and led you to the limousine. When you arrived at the dinner party, a crowd of paparazzi surrounded you and Michael, shouting a large amount of questions. The two of you made it inside quickly. You easily found your assigned table because it had your names on it.
The place was filled with other celebrities, all talking and drinking wine or water. The food arrived a little later. As you were enjoying your pasta, Michael got distracted by the dessert bar. The moment he got up, Prince walked over to your table.
“What’s a pretty girl like you doing over here alone?” Prince said in a flirtatious voice.
“Im just waiting for Michael to come back from the dessert bar.” You said in the flattest voice you could.
While Prince was flirting with you, Michael stood behind him. When Prince felt Michael’s presence, he turned around. Michael dumped his wine on Prince. Everyone was shocked and stared. 'Who the heck do you think you are, hitting on my girlfriend?' Michael said in a calm, harsh voice.
Michael was burning with rage. Prince stood up from his chair. “Well, maybe if you didn't leave her alone, I wouldn't be here.”Prince said in a harsh voice. Michael threw his cake into Prince’s face. “Maybe you should learn to keep your hands to yourself and stop hitting on girls who have boyfriends. You don't ever touch my girl!”
summary: Michael and Paul fell in love with you. They fight over you at Disneyland.
pairing: Michael Jackson x reader or Paul McCartney x reader
Warning: fighting, flirting, fluff, you got big decisions and you don’t know who to choose.
Song Inspiration: The Girl Is mine-Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney
Side note: I really love them both! This will have some of the lyrics in The Girl Is mine. I hope you will enjoy this! I made this with love.
You, Michael, and Paul McCartney were crowded around a quiet corner table at a small, cozy cafe, trying to look nonchalant. Michael had been quietly stirring his tea, staring off into space, when a sudden spark lit up his eyes.
"Guys, we should go to Disneyland!" Michael burst out, a huge, radiant smile spreading across his face.
You grinned, immediately charmed by his enthusiasm. "Disneyland is not a bad idea at all."
Both you and Michael instantly turned to look over at Paul, waiting to see if the bassist was on board. Paul chuckled, adjusting his vest as he looked between the two of you.
"Well, Disneyland it is!" Paul laughed.
Michael let out a joyful, high-pitched cheer. He was so overwhelmed with excitement that he jumped up from his chair and bolted straight out the cafe doors, leaving you and Paul laughing at the table.
You and Paul sat at the table for a few more minutes, finishing up your drinks.
You looked up from your coffee mug, a sudden thought crossing your mind. "Do you think Michael ran far?"
"I don't think he would have," Paul replied, gesturing toward the front of the shop. "Check outside the window."
You leaned over and stared out the glass, scanning the sidewalk. "He's not there," you said, letting out a heavy sigh."Well, let's go see if we can find him," Paul laughed, pushing his chair back.
You and Paul grabbed your things, stepped away from the table, and headed outside into the afternoon air to hunt down your missing friend.
The fresh, cool breeze hit you and Paul the moment you stepped onto the sidewalk."It got pretty chilly out here," you said, rubbing your arms against the sudden drop in temperature.
Paul shivered slightly as the same cool gust hit him. "Yeah, it did. Where could Michael possibly have gone?"
The two of you began talking and sharing ideas as you walked down the street, keeping your eyes peeled for any sign of him.
Your question was answered a moment later when you spotted a familiar figure just down the block. Michael was standing by a brightly colored ice cream cart, eagerly counting out some cash.
"Well, look at that," Paul chuckled, nudging your shoulder and pointing down the sidewalk.
Michael looked up, holding a melting ice cream cone in his hand, and gave you both a cheerful wave as if running out of the cafe was the most normal thing in the world.
Michael licked his cone and looked at you both with wide, innocent eyes. "I got a head start! Are we ready to go to Disneyland now?"
Paul laughed, shaking his head. "Yes, Peter Pan, we're ready. Let's get to the car before your ice cream melts all over the sidewalk."
The three of you turned around and walked back toward the parking lot, Michael happily leading the way with his treat.
The car ride flew by in a blur of laughter, road trip snacks, and Michael humming tunes in the backseat. Before you knew it, the iconic, colorful towers of the Disneyland entrance appeared on the horizon.
As you pulled into the parking lot, Michael pressed his face right against the window like an excited kid, his eyes wide with wonder. "We're finally here!" he whispered, practically vibrating with excitement.
Paul parked the car and turned off the ignition, looking back at Michael with a grin. "Alright, lads, let's get inside before the lines get too long."
You stood by the hot dog stand, completely captivated by the smoky, delicious aroma of a fresh corn dog, blissfully ignoring everything else. Meanwhile, just a few yards away, Michael and Paul had wandered right into the middle of the bright lights and loud music of the Disneyland carnival.
While they were at the carnival watching the show, Paul slowly turned to Michael. "I don't understand the way you think, saying that she's yours, not mine," he said. "Sending roses and your silly dreams is really just a waste of time."
Michael slowly shot back, "Every night she walks right into my dreams. Since I met her from the start, I'm so proud I am the only one who is special in her heart."
