Than later in the Dragon and Fluttershy’s conversation:
Dragon: But that rainbow one kicked me.
Fluttershy: And I am very sorry about that. But you’re bigger than she is, and you should know better.
Fluttershy here apologized for Rainbow Dash, isn’t that sweet?
Sonic Rainboom
Rainbow Dash chose Fluttershy to be her support for the “Best Young Flyer Competition”.
One could argue it was just because Fluttershy was also a pegasus, as Rainbow Dash states to the rest of the main 6 that she wishes they could be there to support her instead, but the thing is, winning the “Best Young Flyer Competition” meant EVERYTHING to Rainbow Dash.If it meant the world to her, she would have wanted someone who really cared about her to support her. So why put Fluttershy in the position of supporting her for no reason? She could have just went to get Flitter or Derpy instead.
Rainbow Dash admits to their friends that Fluttershy is great support. She then covers it up by quickly stating that Fluttershy cannot cheer.
Oh Rainbow…y u hide your feelings?
Later on, Fluttershy actually cheers very loudly for her, Rainbow Dash actually gets tear-eyed!
The Cutie Mark Chronicles
“It’s revealed in Fluttershy’s flashback that she and Rainbow Dash were actually friends as fillies. Which comes to add some depth to their friendship, and does make sense for what we see later in season two with the way they interact. It begins off with Rainbow Dash standing up for Fluttershy against Billy and Hoops when they were teasing her. Really is the beginning of her being the Element of Loyalty! But moreover, she’s not afraid to stand up for her best friend, because she cares about her and wouldn’t want anything to happen to her. She then is challenged to a race in order to defend Fluttershy’s honour.

Secret of my Excess
This episode here was FlutterDash in physical action. In one scene,Rainbow Dash randomly just grabs Fluttershy and holds her close when told she should do something. She could have just said something to Fluttershy instead of grabbing and holding her. Thats what friends would have done.
In another scene, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy grab eachother before they fell into the water. They could of just both flyed. Fluttershy, could have just had a slow reaction and got confused, but Rainbow Dash could have just simply flew in and lifted her up. But nope, they both decide to hold eachother and fall.
The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000
In this episode, this one scene really interested me.
“She goes to Fluttershy’s house, wakes her up really early in the morning, and rushes her off to Sweet Apple Acres. To get there faster. You would think, yes, Rainbow Dash didn’t want Fluttershy to slow her down. But, then if you think about it, she doesn’t even have to! Again, she really didn’t have any good reason to bring her along like that! She didn’t even have to in the first place. She could have easily just left on her own, and get there in time, and Fluttershy would get there when she would get there. All of this is going on when Rainbow Dash is seriously intent on getting cider no matter what.”~NintendoGal55
After Rainbow Dash carries Fluttershy out of her cottage. Than she says “Don’t you remember what happened last year?”
So they knew eachother before The Summer Sun celebration?
Season 4 Episodes 1-2 marks an exact year of Season 1 Episodes 1-2 when they all first met.This episode happened in SEASON 2.
Than LATER…
“Rainbow Dash let Fluttershy go ahead of her in line. Honestly! When she was hell-bent on getting cider! When she KNEW that the line was ridiculously long and the chances of getting any were nil! She LET. FLUTTERSHY. GO. AHEAD OF HER.
Wow. She must really want Fluttershy to get some cider!
Now again, she had no reason to bring her along in the way she did. Fluttershy doesn’t seem all that keen about cider (but would have some anyway). She’s hell-bent on getting cider. Then she lets Fluttershy go ahead of her in line.”~NintendoGal55
Dragon Quest
There is not much to cover in this episode, but there is one thing I would like to point out. At the beginning of the episode, we learned Rainbow Dash went to the Butterfly Migration with Fluttershy. Now most might say maybe that doesn’t really mean anything. But let’s analysis the scene…
Rainbow Dash had no reason to go with her. She could have just backed out and said no, yet she went anyways. Fluttershy could have gotten Rarity or Twilight to go, except she chose Rainbow Dash. And get this, she even kept a photo of them.
She seems awfully bored.So why would she even keep the photo? Also, look where Rainbow’s staring. Plus, Twilight was in the area, so Rainbow may have left out some classified information.
Hurricane Fluttershy
There is A LOT of subtext i can point out here. This episode was FlutterDash to the core!
In this episode, Rainbow Dash is determined to to complete Tornado Day and beat the winning record. Except, she couldn’t do it without Fluttershy!
In one scene, Rainbow Dash puts her foreleg around Fluttershy’s and asks her softly what’s wrong. Fluttershy admits she believes she couldn’t do it. Rainbow Dash supportingly tells her she did a wicked dive to save some falling birds…
There is a lot more little points i want to point out, but i will just write what interested me. Long story short, it goes back and fourth, Rainbow Dash is happy Fluttershy will try, than sad she won’t.
Here are the thing’s that particularly interested me:
In a scene, Rainbow Dash gets really overexcited and hugs Fluttershy when Fluttershy says yes to help out with the tornado.
“Now, yes, she said wing power this time, but the fact she still wants Fluttershy included (knowing full well her wing power is weak) is already an indication that she wants Fluttershy herself to be there.”~NintendoGal55
This indicates Rainbow wants Fluttershy there. Not JUST because of wing power.
“And yet again, showcasing how Rainbow Dash has no problem initiating physical contact with Fluttershy, especially that closely!”~NintendoGal55
Than yet in one scene, after Fluttershy runs away…
“When Fluttershy runs away, this happens. Rainbow Dash reaches out toward her with one hoof, looking distraught. Unable to think of a solution, given that she’s too upset about what happened, she kicks at the ground in frustration, and then sadly walks away. Her facial expressions and her gesture of kicking the ground were golden, and really showed just how much this tortured her.”~NintendoGal55
Than later on, after the tornado scene. Fluttershy still proceeds to fly in circles. Rainbow Dash catches her on a cloud, and says “Who girl!Take it easy!”
Afterwards, Rainbow proceeds to hug her, and then even after one of her idols compliment her, Rainbow turns all the praise over to Fluttershy.
Overall, this episode was no doubt FlutterDash themed!Also, i would like to add another small idea by Souldin, the episode title involves “Hurricane”, similar to how love is like a hurricane.

Fluttershy seemed worried about Rainbow Dash in the scene. SO worried that she would push Twilight out of the way and look for her. Intresting…
A Canterlot Wedding (Part 2)
Here we got their first kiss in the series!
Now everyone says Rainbow Dash was smiling, but look at Fluttershys lips.
Also, in the scene, there was a kissing sound. It is obvious they kissed.
Castle Mane-ia
Take note Fluttershy is STILL BLUSHING:
She seems REALLY shocked to see Fluttershy in a “creepy ol’ castle”. Why does it matter to her that Fluttershy’s there? She could have asked why Twilight or AJ was there.
Trade Ya!
This episode was FlutterDash again. After Rainbow Dash realizes she just sold away Fluttershy for the Daring Do book, she goes as far as having a meeting and getting her friend back.
Than afterwards on the train, she traded their huge dog for Fluttershy’s whistle.
