I think i really need Simon and Adrian to be important for erid like Rocky and Grace. Like i neeeeeed Simon to save erid in some kinda way, like, since the planet is dying, they are losing their sunlight for so much longer that Earth does, their plants and animals are dying and they are trying to hang on for blip-A crew to arrive and save them.
A literal alien falls close to their planet orbit, (or just lands his space there is don't know) and when they send their a crew to investigate(maybe adrian is there with them or maybe they learn about simon later, again i don't know) the alien spaceship is full with a liquid that the crew does not recognize but in the middle of it they find a alien, who looks to missing a limb, (and after a whole process of discovering oxygen inside the spaceship, bulding a xenonite suit and getting the alien out and getting the said alien in a medic room to heal them). Now Adrian, who is now assigned to care for said the alien because of their expertise on fleshy creatures and and how to care for these being's (among other things) has to try to communicate and study the alien. Everything goes smoothly in some way, simon and adrian are being somewhat able to understand eachother, simon is healing, and when adrian finally starts doing some tests on simon blood(after he let them), and after also comparing his blood with the one on spaceship....
They find that simon's blood is healing the earth on Erid.
The ground that had come into contact with the blood is becoming fertile again. There are already some plants starting to grow when it would take weeks to sprout (Simon is on erid for roughly one week and a half), adrian does some testing on some eridian animal (a already dying one, don't think they would risk something on a health animal) and they start to look a bit better, they report their findings to their superiors, those superiors give adrian a team to study the blood and start asking for daily reports on simon, and after some time and more willingness from simon, they are able to clone simons cells( for him to eat and to produce more blood) Erid start healing, food storage is growing, animals are staying more healthy, plants are flourishing. And they even make a suit for simon, which he uses to go around erid with adrian (their biodome is still being built), he even tries to help the eridians with some labor (he feels like owns Erid as whole (especialy adrian) so he tries to make himself usefull after his waryness of them better) the eridians found even more endering and likeable, qnd are even seeing the change on adrian because of him, they are getting happier that they were, they are talking more,but they still spend most of their time with simon on his "home". And after months(or years) erid is hanging on more, they are not thriving, they still need the solution for the astrophage problem, but they are better, simon is getting even more liked and referred by erid as a whole, and adrian is starting to get even more awards, fame and position on eridian Society because of their findings and research, (they both are getting the same fame as grace and rocky when they got on erid, don't even think it would be weird for eridians to call them "savior simon" and "savior adrian" or other title)
And in the end grace and rocky come back to erid, the sun is saved, rocky and adrian have a encounter penelope and ody style, simon and grace start to know eachother more and boom. Bloodymary on the rocks.
