Umi - Priestess Cosplay - Love Live (2016)

Absolutely love this outfit and had to get @alwaysscosplay to sit down with me and put a set together so i could capture some shots of this gorgeous outfit.

I’m planning to add pearl detailing and embroider the gold detail so i can make this outfit more “WOW” and get some more gorgeous shots of it but so far these are the testers we took~

EMPEROR LELOUCH: Cosplayer: LALAax

This is one of my all time favourite cosplayers for the Emperor Lelouch vers. i absolutely love the strong narrative theme throughout the images and the great stylised makeup they use that i feel is perfect for lelouch.

Lalaxx as a cosplayer has a very distinct style when it comes to makeup, poses and overall choice in character they have a huge range of cosplays and create accurate interpretations of key scenes, character personality and expression.

However with the different communities that exist globally for cosplay its sometimes difficult to contact/get past language barriers that exist. They have a facebook ‘cosplage’ that exists and they tend to update it

but there are different forums that exist within the cosplay communities globally with most of the eastern communities using sites such as weibo and worldcosplay to communicate

Emperor Lelouch Figure: Review

shows a really nice breakdown of the figure being put together and the separate components. Wanting to make this accurate to the figure/clamp designs but there are some parts that i’ll be adjusting just due to my own artistic license and to make the outfit suit me more considering clamps designs are based on very very distinct human anatomy changes that are very difficult to find or re-create. i.e i am a short child.

This also gives more information to how the figure/outfit can be broken down to the compartments and to figure out pattern bases to make my job easier and more technically correct

PROJECT: CODE GEASS EMPEROR LELOUCH

This is one of my dream cosplays that i’ve always wanted to make since i started getting into the craft of cosplays, but ive been too scared to attempt making this since i never felt my craftsmanship was good enough. I hate the versions that are avaible to buy on taobao and ebay because the gold they use is unflattering and the outfits are never tailored nicely from my experience and this would be a marker of my growth as a cosplay crafter.

two years ago i did try to make this outfit but i only managed to start working on Lelouch’s hat due to time constraints and uni workload.
