Well, it cracked. While tourists were walking on it. Apparently someone dropped a “sharp object,” which shattered one of the panes of glass.

A tourist said “I looked down and saw the glass floor beneath me shattered. [I have] no idea why it happened, at that moment everybody was screaming. I yelled out loud, ‘It cracked, it really cracked’, then pushed the people in front of me to leave. [I was] terrified.“

The new bridge had only been open for 16 days.

The company in charge of the bridge said safety had not been compromised because there are 3 layers of glass :0/

Still, I say NOPE.
