I know I haven’t been active on here for a looong time, but I felt this was important to post. Today would have been the 9th birthday of my dog, Shadow. However he got ill Wednesday morning and passed away the very same day, less than 12 hours later after he showed the first symptom of being ill. The vet could not tell us what exactly happened. He was an extremely cuddly boy, and even if he and my other dog Farris sometimes had small arguments over snacks, they seemed to be close and enjoy each other's company. I got him when he was 2 years old as a dog being rehomed, and he seemed to click right into our family. It's going to take quite a while to adjust to him no longer being here, no longer following me around the house and keeping me company on the couch or laying on the floor when I’m in the computer room. I miss him extremely much, but I'm grateful we were able to adopt him and have him be with us.
