Jardin des Plantes
Who knew it pretty much had a zoo inside?! NOT ME... That was exciting. Although quite a distance, it is definitely worth going to have a walk about and take some arty photos of plants and such like if you’re into photography. If you’re in Paris on a sunny day, it would 100% be a nice trip, perhaps also stopping off at the other various attractions along the seine (e.g. le Musée de la Sculpture en plein air, which is very close by).
La Baguette
I became obsessed with a baguette sold by 'Paul'. Yes we have Paul in England BUT I'd never seen this sandwich before. It is the most delicious one I've tried. Pesto, serrano/parma ham, tomatoes and lettuce. A simple, yet life changing moment. Whether homemade or the real deal from Paul; I would highly recommend it.
Vintage
Coming from London (where manz love vintage shopping), I was surprised at how much better the vintage shops in Paris are! Way better value for money, and much more variety of clothes. So basics, a clear winner.
Most of the best vintage shops are in Le Marais, located in the 3rd arrondissement (the trendy one). Unfortunately I can't remember all the names of the shops. 'Hippy Market' was good but one of the more expensive ones. My fave was the kilo shop- 30 euros for a kilo of clothes. If you go for a stroll all around the Pompidou you will come across all the same ones I did. Oh and DEFFO go into 'Vintage Factory' (I think it's called) right opposite the Pompy to not only shop for clothes but also to see the most beautiful man in the world; who works there in a little t-shirt making bit at the back. Love at first sight. Honestly.

Jardin Tino Rossi
Along the Seine towards Gare d'Austerlitz is the Tino Rossi sculpture museum. It's outside, so, wouldn't recommend going on a rainy day! It's not an extensive collection so you can do it quickly, but there are some nice green spaces if you wanted to have a lil chill there and look onto the Seine. We may have touched the sculptures when we weren't supposed to, but there was no one there to shout at us. REBS. I mean, don't get your hopes up, it's really quite small but worth seeing and is something to do outdoors!

After another successful night out at Carmen, we came out and realised it was morning. We were blates bloody hungry so we hit up a kebab shop in Pigalle and took the food up to Saccy to watch the sunrise. Was one of my favourite moments of the trip. We were so tired and hysterical, my roomie has hurt her knee so she was exhaustedly limping around hahaa. It was surprisingly crowded for how early it was. Some KEEN tourists out there.
Tune some Gs were playing from their car that I shazammed while eating the kebab.

Lille/Hei-Jackers
Couldn't get enough of the stone, so I went back to see him. The first time I had gone, he was preparing for a big campaign that he was part of for his school. This time was the actual campaign, it was so busy and seemed very stressful, felt a bit bad for being there during this time BUT it was fine and really fun. The group of people they all called the 'liste' was lovely. Although a complete scrape and randomer, they made me feel really welcome and wish that I were in 'HeiJackers' with them! Haha loser. The beginning of the campaign was a sports day and big party that they had organised. The sports day was cooler and better than any sports day I ever had and SO HOT AND SUNNY! There were free drinks, chips, ice cream AND trampolines, zorb football, a foam party, a DJ and obviously proper sports (I wasn't supposed to be there but SHOUT OUT TO LUCIE MAEDER who made it all possible). Each liste presented their campaigns, which involved dance routines; incredible.
Next was the party. With loads of free drink tokens, the night couldn't fail. As the people I knew were mostly working during this night, I hung out with all my other friends (lol jk). The non-liste friends were really sweet and took me under their wings a bit. Mommy babysit me. Jokes. Towards the end of the night I decided to stay to help clean up etc. Best decision I have ever made. Sitting by the cloakroom as everyone was leaving was possibly the funniest half hour of my life, (this is where my slapstick sense of humour comes into play... Must say, I don't laugh when people are seriously hurt). Obviously everyone was waved, and to leave the club you had to go up quite a few stairs. Strewn with chunder and various drink spillages, this was not easy. What followed was a stream of drunk people slipping, falling, skidding, wobbling and struggling up the stairs. Amazing. My favourites were the ones who thought no one had seen and so tried to style it out but were so drunk that they just did it again straight away. Priceless.
Had a fab time again the second time I went to Lille, despite going at what was probably the most inconvenient time ever for P-money...
Marché aux Puces de Saint- Ouen
Advertised as Europe's largest flea market, located in Paris, the market is definitely worth seeing. Don't want to disappoint BUT it's not actually in Paris, it's in Saint- Ouen which is just outside of Paris. The reason I feel this is important to mention is because we were slightly terrified when we had to walk across a motorway to get there. Don't be alarmed if this happens to you, you are going to the right place. It is also the right place to go to pick up a date, the tradesman love showing off their english skills, especially their chat-up lines. We made a few friends.
It is not as touristy as one would expect, the majority of its shoppers being french locals. This is perhaps due to the stalls, the contents of most: stray lightbulbs, phone accessories, odd shoes and battered furniture- WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?! It is also great for fake branded trainers, so if in need of some of those; hit it UP! Although slightly disappointed by what it had to offer (compared with other french markets we'd been to before), its vastness is impressive, and making the tough decision between which pair of non-matching shoes to buy is entertaining for a good hour.
