The Fae Hellhound is an interesting type— and almost impossible to discern from the True Hellhound. It’s okay if you don’t know! Here are a few handy tips to help you tell the difference!
★True Hellhounds don’t need their fire and brimstone store-bought— they make their own. They come straight from hell, so this makes sense. However, the Fae variety cannot make its own and so cannot survive unless remaining in such extreme heat.
★True Hellhounds are some of the few creatures known to be truly malevolent in nature. These beasts are not only capable of cruelty, but will go out of their way to cause it.
★Fae Hellhounds are domesticated, True Hellhounds are not. True Hellhounds act feral and erratically, and are incredibly and obviously dangerous to be around, while the Fae variety is quite placid and trusting.
