I have been wanting to make a series of images on ‘homebugs’  Some variants on the “lovebug” and what not.

There are different varieties of homebug, bred and kept as a natural alternative to robots, homebugs treat their owners as the leader of their colony and much like ants perform tasks for the home, either protection, cooking, cleaning or companionship.

The first is the Short tail homebug. This one is related to what we would think of as warrior ant drone or similar type of more athletic insectoid.
