Was there going to be a segment of Freaky Fusion set in the 50s or was it for another movie themed around fusion?

@cometcrystal just reminded me that there was a scrapped concept for the movie when they went to the 50s.

This is another instance of me just “wut" at the choice of names to pun.  Wouldn’t…wouldn’t a pun on 1950s rock icon Elvis Presley, like…I dunno…Elvis Grisly…make more sense than a pun on 1970s alt rock icon Elvis Costello?  I can only assume that, like Kiyomi Haunterly, it’s an in-joke. (Still not sure where Neighthan Rot fits on the ‘pun versus in-joke’ scale, as Nathan Rott is a public radio reporter based in California but broadcast nation-wide.)

Those names are all for the characters on the non fusion 1950s line up, I don’t know why they were formatted like this but the post says “second picture” before the names and those names all match up with a zombie girl, vampire girl, gargoyle girl, plant boy and zombie boy respectably.
