          “ yeah and maybe if you’d picked up your phone, you would have a better idea than the one out of the loop. ” ben visible crumpled his nose at the childish gesture, hand instinctually going up to rub at the place rey had flicked. “ it’s a big ordeal, i’d be surprised if she has time to say hi before getting distracted by some other relative or friend. we, uh, go hard for pesach. or whatever the youngins say. ” ben didn’t particularly enjoying spending time with so many members of his family, too many questions. too many failures. the pride and joy of the solo-organa household reduced to nothing but a sorry excuse for an adult. but he liked passover. and with so many people, it was easy to get lost in the frey. he just needed a someone to keep him company.  rolling his eyes, ben refused to let his amusement escape in any form. “ what can i say, i’m a complicated man with complicated taste. ”
