The Convince Me Card Game is being played everywhere and anywhere—on a bus, in a car, in line, at the park—by anyone age 7 and over—with families, at parties, in classrooms—and anytime—5 minutes, 20 minutes—no matter what you feel like now, you’ll be laughing in 2 minutes.
We created Convince Me as a way to have fun, relax, and experience convincing someone while being silly—leaving all seriousness behind. We believe games make possible an experiential social laboratory where we can try all kinds of behaviors and see what happens while inside the game. And that translates into real life afterwards…
And while we call this Convince Me Kids Card Game, it’s really for the kid inside all of us that’s bottled up and ready to burst out when given the chance. This is just to let you know this version is the G rated version. We’ve had fun playing this with 70-year-olds and 7-year-olds and all ages in between—even 20 and 30 somethings love it!
As a kids’ game, this was influenced by a parent who wanted a game that kids could play without mom or dad, that channels their natural energy, and that if they’re off playing this game then you know they’re doing something good.
So, if you’re tired of meaningless games that just fill time, and you want to get people up and moving and laughing, Convince Me does that.
And heaven knows, this world needs more laughter, fun, and communication right now…
You need 3-6 players and any amount of time. Convince Me has 54 cards: 30 purple cards that are activities requiring convincing and 24 orange cards with actions players have to do while they’re convincing the one player with the purple card. The orange player who did the best job according to the purple player wins that round.
The actions you have to do while convincing include winking, playing air guitar, doing a yoga pose, and hopping on one foot. You get to choose among the four on each orange card—ones that have you up and moving around doing silly things or actions you can do sitting down that are silly.
You really can play for only 5 minutes if you want—or one round—or many rounds.
