Hey Monty, I'm workshoping a tiefling paladin atm and had a cool idea but wanted some insight from a dm's point of view. While deciding which race to be I happen to read up on a fiend called 'Rakshasa'(demon cat people) and thought "why not have that as my demon parent". So my question is; would it be possible to have a Rakshasa/Tabaxi parents to look far more cat like be still just be a tiefling (nothing special added)? Does this mess with general d&d lore to much?

I’d go with more tiefling, more so. Maybe add some tiger-like elements, something like tiger eyes, maybe some fur on the tail, more lean towards character aesthetic and presentation. Talk to your DM most importantly. The Tabaxi/Rakshasa might be a bit too much.

Hi, bit of a dnd thing but your dming/world/Alavast (sorry if missspelled) on the Unexpectables it great and I hope I can be as good as a dm for my players as you are to yours !! Best of luck with the campaign and I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds !!

Hi Monty! I discovered you as a DM a few months ago over at itmeJP's channel and I really enjoy your storytelling. So I have been listening to some of the unexpectables but unfortunately I can't say that I mash well with the rest of the cast. So I was wondering if you will be doing any kind of guest DMing on other networks in the future?

Depends on whether or not I’m invited to something like Rollplay again! f you’d like to see me on Rollplay again, definitely be vocal on their forums if the opportunity arises!

In the mean time, I focus the majority of my attention towards The Unexpectables! Though I’m working on some One-Off’s (Not Streamed) for some special stuff I’ve got planned, and some local things!

I definitely would recommend giving the Unexpectables another chance! If you don’t like the Youtube Vod’s we also have a balanced Podcast version available on Itunes and Google Play!
