Oh... it feels weird to be at an age where the end of summer brings up more of a nostalgic sadness for the end of past summers than pain at the current one ending. My heart aches for the places & people I'll miss but I missed them harder before when I was younger and it was this one instead of that one, maybe I miss how raw that was. It's like layers of leaves building up. They crunch harder closer to the pavement. The newer ones are softer

I am not meant for casual. I was born for soul crushing devotion.

autumn is really like. i brought you some sunlight from when you were 10. didn't the world feel so bright to you then? i'll drench your hands in syrupy nostalgia, so everything you make is stained bittersweet. i'll ruffle your hair with an ice-kissed breeze--it'll be the kindest touch you've had in years. you finally feel like a part of something grander. i'm the last warm hand you hold before winter surrender.

absolutely love it and find it mesmerizing when the line between art and real life is so blurry. like when you look at a photograph and you’re like!!!! there’s no way this isn’t a painting it looks too beautiful to be true!! or the opposite when you’re looking at a painting and your brain goes ! ! ! Because it looks SO real. too real. and i just think. not only do we kind of live inside one huge beautiful painting but we also sort of create our own world through art. it’s so wonderful i have tears in my eyes
