cycles of blame trap humanity in deepening spirals of despair.
mother natures cry has become too desperate for a growing number of compassionate humans to ignore. yet even those of us (oh-so enlightened ones) who dedicate their energy toward positive action, experience this common cognitive dissonance; pouring disappointment into those we deem lost causes, due to some perceived, ultimately arbitrary difference; “if i can learn to be better, why can’t everyone else?
there is a disconnect between our thoughts and actions here that has more to do with self-loathing projections than our true feelings toward our kin.
this is a step backward in our evolution of consciousness that needs to be held in the light of compassion. we must be patient with those we deem “below” us; those threatening reminders of whence we came, blanketed beneath the same status quo from which we believe we are free. we must cultivate the reach to call others in, the strength to elevate each other to greater heights.
none of us asked to be born at these oppressive intersections, yet there is salvation in the affliction of our human iteration; our ability to extract form from concept, to reflect facets of consciousness from one body to another, our senses the conduits that arrive at understanding.
only in these waters can we cleanse each other of the self loathing we’ve become steeped in. our first responsibility is to stem our wounds from seeping into the collective psyche.
and only in these purified waters will we see how silly it is to blame our reflection.
