the issue with thrift stores becoming a trendy thing for rich people, especially resellers, is that people who NEED thrift store prices now have a harder time getting clothes and house goods because someone who can easily afford nice new stuff has bought it up to sell it on depop or something. like i dont even care all that much honestly if they buy some clothes just for themselves, but there is like a real actual trend of rich people buying things in bulk to resell, not just what they need for themselves, and thrift store owners have taken note of that and jacked up their prices, which the resellers can easily afford, but normal customers are negatively impacted by it

its good to want to reuse and recycle! you should do that, and again, i dont even care if rich people go buy some jeans or a bread machine or a table or some shit for personal use. but the trendy bulk resellers are not doing that and it is causing problems
