This is probably useless, because I have no followers at all, and my anxiety means I keep to myself, but I seriously need some help. My car was seriously damaged during hurricane Ian and it is the sole source of my income. The government basically told me to go fuck myself, as good Ol Deathsantis voted against receiving additional fema aid to the state of Florida. I need my car fixed so that I can go back to work, and my rent and electric paid due to missing an entire week or more of work. I’m basically looking at 1,500 on bills after I have already paid what I could. Any amount would help me not get evicted for non payment of rent or to have my electricity cut off when it’s almost 90 degrees out.
I have never asked for help before, and I don’t really know how this works, but if you’ve read this far thank you, truly.

I got zero response to this, not even a friendly reblog. I am really in dire straits. Above is the estimate to get my car running so I can go back to work, it’s not the total amount needed to fix all of the damage from hurricane Ian as my car was completely submerged, but it’s all I can hope for.
I have already tried fema with no luck, they say they can’t find my application number and after being on hold for 4 complete hours, transferred me to a department that isn’t open. The county I live in is one of the poorest and most diverse counties in Florida, and we were also hit the worst. There are no disaster recovery units here, despite half of the county still being flooded. It’s no surprise that a county with a high volume of black and brown people is the last to receive any aid, federal or state. They really don’t give a fuck about us.
Anything you can give helps me survive.
