I know a certain part of this fan base is going to crash out at people deciding to leave, and I just wanna say this: your feelings are valid. There was plausible deniability before this week, but with how big it got and both of their presences (or lack thereof) on socials, there’s no way he doesn’t know at this point. You’re allowed to have boundaries and stand on your morals when it comes to being a fan of someone. You don’t have to like everything they do, and if you decide their actions no longer align with your morals, you’re allowed to no longer be a fan. Don’t let anyone guilt trip you or convince you that you’re toxic or parasocial for leaving. In fact, it’s toxic and parasocial to defend someone’s actions and constantly make excuses.
