we fucked up as a society when we replaced handwritten letters with instant messaging, poetry with dm’s, looking with our eyes to peering through our screens, romantic intimacy with p*rn - we are so desensitized to life itself that we no longer feel motivated or accomplished by anything, we just keep digging a bigger hole for the next extreme to feel the slightest bit of anything at all. instant gratification is the death of us
