i haven't had time to draw anything for planet robobot's 9th anniversary, so here's some photos i took of mk & susie at random undisclosed beaches in hawaii earlier this year

this was inspired by one of @icy-dark-star's posts from i think a few years ago where they did something similar, genuinely one of my most favorite metasusie posts of all time

there's also a picture of them after i climbed up the koko head, but these are supposed to be just beach photos so beach!

...but know that i would indeed hike up a 500 step staircase all the way in hawaii in the scorching sun & go down said staircase just for them, this is the power of metasusie fans.

i have been reminded of this again & i am embarrassed by this post not because it's metasusie but because the koko head railway consists of 1048 steps, which would mean i had climbed 1048 steps up & 1048 steps down. this is truly a stain on my record & i apologize for the lack of accuracy when initially creating the post, i will try my best to do research regarding these things beforehand.

i really don't want to incite some fuckass drama because literally nothing is happening rn (MAKE SURE IT STAYS THAT WAY PLEASE.) but ngl, for the probably meager threeish years i've been on tumblr, the weirdly puritan dramatized hatred surrounding metasusie has just completely demotivated me from making content regarding it.

i don't want to draw it. i don't want to post it. ever again is probably overblown but for the time being, that's just how it feels.

i'm glad that there's still people who love it, but it's just hard for me to love something when it's been beaten down into the ground 6ft under. i remember being one of those people too, literally making my ao3 & then tumblr account at the age of a little over 18 to support those i idolized in the community --i was literally kicking my feet & twirling my hair during those days. this entire account was just me wanting to support people who created metasusie content. but now, after seeing the brunt of the rabid, unhinged harassment by people literally less than 3/4th of my age over those two years has slowly sucked the life out of me until nothing was left.

although it's likely because i'm super burnt out from depression, university, & now an actual job related to my field of work, as much as i want to love metasusie the way i love it, i'm just not ready for all of it again.

practicing making textures on pokemon cards (this is a proxy card)

as seen in the second image, i used a sticky note (from daiso specifically) & a cheap nail dotting tool to indent the surface of the card (the indents don't appear on the other side)

very interested in doing my own variation of cuttlefish-lings splatoon style

i thought cutling was very fun word (though it reminds me of cutlets) & started thinking more about it. although cuttlefish already exist (the mysterious cuttlefish idols), you can't beat a dead horse if the horse isn't dead yet --that probably sounds wrong, i apologize
