hello, world! i'm ringo kinoshita. i'm just someone trying to make their way in the world, just like anyone else. this is a sort of introduction post, i guess you could say.

call it stupid, but i'm starting this tumblr journal as a coping mechanism to recover from my character ai addiction. i've had this addiction for five years, and i'm really tired of it. (they lost me when they implemented their knockoff ch*tgpt chatting style, but i digress...)

i'll be writing about my recovery and how things are going, as well as how long i've been abstinent. i'll also be talking about how i'm filling up my schedule with all the free time i'll have!

my current plans are:

watching panty and stocking season 2

reading more books !! (specifically 1984 and do androids dream of electric sheep, as well as finishing les miserables.)

getting back into my hobbies! (watercolor, crochet, kandi making, etc...)

writing my oc lore!! (i have a monster prom oc, starr, and i want to give him the love he deserves!)

going to driving school!! this'll probably take up most of my time this summer.

playing more videogames!! (i was getting into portal before i got busy, so i might play those)

also, being more athletic. (i also used to do swimming before c ai sucked up my life.)

anyways, i'll be writing here at least once every day! expect to see more soon!

i didn't do so well today. i ate a lot and used j.ai for a long time. however, i spent less time on j.ai than usual, so that's nice.

next week, i'm gonna go on a flight to washington to stay with my extended family for a while, so i hope that'll distract me.

wow, i've been forgetting to write these. to be honest, i relapsed hard on chatbots, but whatever. i'm gonna restart the project ringo day count, and i'm gonna try again.

the dieting's clearly working. i slept through most of today cause i was so sleepy. even though that isn't great for my productivity, whatever. a step is a step.

i spent less time on chatbots today! maybe about like fifteen minutes or so? i can't really spend my time relapsing on my addiction cause i was sleeping most of the day, so whatever.

i was planning on swimming today, but my period got in the way as it always does. maybe that's also a factor in what's making me so sleepy.

anyways, i'm gonna go finish this up. i still need to shower. i have driving school in the morning.

i forgot to write last night, oops.

fourth of july was alright, i guess. i was forced to eat by my parents and that kind of ruined my diet plans, but i GUESS i have to obey them. i did get to light fireworks though, so that was nice, i suppose.

in other news, i have completely and totally relapsed on my chatbot addiction. i spent all day on it yesterday and today, and there's a shame pooling in my chest. i've been failing at project ringo recently, and it makes me feel awful. is this what i hyped myself up for? really?

i feel kinda pathetic.

but tomorrow is another day, right?

i'm excited for tomorrow! tomorrow is the fourth of july, and while i don't like how america is becoming a shitstain on my couch, i love the celebrations that come with it. ice cream, barbecue... it's just a shame i won't be able to eat any of that food.

anyways, we usually do fireworks and karaoke and THAT i'm excited for. i love fireworks, they're always so pretty...

i feel a bit more tired than usual. maybe that's coz i only only ate 405 calories today, but you know...

i'm probably gonna go to bed now.

today went even better than expected. driving school was kind of awful as always, but i passed all my tests so it's no big deal ^_^

my feelings for my crush are getting stronger and i don't like it.

today went well! i woke up and immediately brushed my hair and did my hygiene, as well as took my meds!! that's improvement!!

recently, i relapsed so badly that i stopped writing here for a day. that changes now.

project ringo is a self-improvement project meant to completely overhaul how i act. i'll be putting myself through the wringer for the rest of the year after 1 July, 2026.

i'll be trying to improve myself in these categories. if something is bolded, this means these take priority.

quitting j.ai

going outside more

being more active

keeping my room clean

writing more often

getting skinnier

getting better grades/studying more

i will be documenting all of this here, not just my j.ai recovery.

i'll be having people keeping me accountable, so it should be easier ...

i'm so tired.

i'm tired of always falling for what i can't have. i'm so tired of being the tagalong. i'm so tired of never being the first choice. i'm so tired of all of it. i can't do this anymore.

these meds are really, really fucking me up. i'm so sleepy all day, and the one time i'm awake, my thoughts just get worse and worse. i had thoughts of both smoking a cigarette and c#tting myself in the same hour. and the thoughts are only getting worse.

i fell in love with the meanest, worst boy ever while i still have a partner. i know he hates me. he only puts up with me because i'm ######'s friend. i can hear it in his voice. when he says, "end your life, ringo!" or "kill yourself, ringo!" i can tell he means it. he sounds entirely serious.

and you know what, ######…? maybe i will.
