Shocking Transformations

Saturn in the 8th house is not guaranteed placement for a long life. Though it can delay any kind of change in life. Since death is the biggest transformation in life, this placement is often interpreted as causing delay in the occurrence of death. But this is not always true. It can delay a solution to any life problem, it can delay a treatment to any disease, you see it can delay any kind of change in life but not necessarily death.

8th house placements will have similar energy but the way a native manages that energy varies based on their nakshatra. For eg, the ardra nakshatra will do analysis, debate, research, ruminating, obsessing over their emotions, whereas revati nakshatra will submerge, escape, soak into their emotions, avoid talking about their emotions.

Surrender is a lesson that all 8th house natives speak. They just don't feel like their life is under their control. Unfortunately, some of them may even feel that they're so inwardly driven that their external life has frozen in time. Why I Think That 8th House Placements Are Most Valuable

OBJECTIVITY:

During my 8th house initiation, I met not one but 10+ bad people back to back; they were coming into my life one way or the other as if a bee attack. In the beginning I was very frustrated to see all these narcissists and sociopaths around me, but later on I started peeling my own layers and realized that I was not an angel like I thought. These encounters were like a mirror to me, they showed me what I could not see otherwise in myself. They showed me my own vanity and narcissism. They showed me my own darkness, ignorance and blind spots. I thought I was a normal person until I realized I was actually an emotionally manipulative asshole who had simply not matured yet. And this trickster exists in everyone, but they do not realize it until they go deep within. Most people live their lives on surface levels, while those who do go deeper keep their lives private and secretive so you would not know their affairs unless you are personally involved with them. The reason for keeping their lives private is that the world does not seem to understand them, the world ridicules them and outcasts them.

VANITY DETECTION:

8th housers and scorpio placements have an inbuilt vanity detector in them. They can tell who is being insincere, self-contradictory, manipulative, arrogant, who has ulterior motives, etc. They will physically feel sick and disgusted around people who do and say superficial things. Their disgust pushes them to seek answers that are beyond superficiality. This is why 8th housers run from public eye because they want to stay away from persona as much as possible while being true to their emotions and authentic self. It is the 8th housers who are being faced with the darkness of psyche again and again until they surrender to it and begin to explore the irrational and unconscious side of the life. 8th house is the house of transformations but what is transformation and how do they transform? Transformation follows chaos and crisis. Being 8th house, the crisis is sudden, unpredictable, unforeseen and unplanned. Here are some of the ways they transform themselves:

Oftentimes the transformations can be painful like physical abuse or punishment or jail time or disease that isolates them (cancer, AIDS, coma condition)

These natives trigger chaos in their environment. They create drama, fights, crisis, yell, shout, cry for the transformational energy. What do 8th house natives have to deal with in life?

This post is for validation purpose. I have seen it so many times that 8th house dominant natives go through similar treatment from people around them, but remain confused whether their experiences are valid or not. The brain is unable to process what just happened and it takes a lot of mental gymnastics to figure out that people are actually treating them badly and they were not making it up or being extra sensitive.

Let's begin with some caution: You dont have to befriend or please toxic people. Leave them alone and focus on your own life. If you cannot ignore them, distance yourself emotionally and focus your energy on yourself. Study, read books, have hobbies, go to the gym, learn to read people, learn to identify personality patterns in people. 8th house natives always have problem with people treating them bad, but isolating yourself is not the answer. The answer is to put yourself in social settings and observe-learn-trial-error; keep learning from people and learn to identify them. If you get a hold of their birth chart, it will help you even more to connect their behaviour with their life path. As always, Stoicism is something I encourage. If you are not already emotionally strong then Stoicism will tell you "rules" to follow to be mentally strong. For eg, instead of ruminating on revenge fantasies, you can let go of the past and take a pledge to not become like the person who harmed you:

Understanding 8th house with Jungian psychology!

Carl Jung, the man himself had Sun in 8th house, Mercury and Venus conjunction in 7th house, Mars in 12th house and sagittarius ascendant. This clearly shows his giftedness in projection, shadow self and human personality (7th house) and occult, subconscious and psychiatry (8th house). Mercury and Venus conjunction in 7th house: Well, he did marry a rich wife and had many affairs, but I suspect his emotional life was not so stable, which is why he left the legacy of depth psychology. He had moon in Aries in 5th house.

8th house has a link to occult, psychiatry, bringing subconscious to conscious (tarot, automatic writing, synchronicities etc), magick, the hidden mysterious chaos of life. 8th house is the portal to the unconscious. I personally use journaling, tarot, sigils, intuition, magick, automatic writing, as various tools to explore the unconscious. Sacred geometry, psychoanalysis, astrology, shamanism all come naturally to 8th house natives.

Friendly advice for 8th house/scorpio natives:

Stop trying to rationalize wrong behaviour. I know you are a fountain of empathy and always try to rationalize bad people's actions. No one is behaving bad to you because they have trauma. They behave bad to you because they choose to. They are grown up adults and they know how to behave with someone. So stop trying to rationalize their behaviours.

Next, you cannot change anyone. Even if a wrong person decides to behave right with you, they will not become right. They will stay toxic to those who will allow it. This is why you should have boundaries. Do not befriend people easily. Especially for people with deep emotional sensitivity, you take betrayal very seriously and demand utmost loyalty and honestly. While other signs do not care about betrayal, you are deep feeler and it hurts you in the deepest heart when betrayed.

So, keep boundaries. Take your time to match the words and actions of those in your circle. Only then befriend people. Trust very few. Write journals or vent online to anonymous strangers. I know from experience that I being 8th house dominant shared my secrets with some people and they ended up spreading rumors, gossiping, manipulating me, triggering my insecurities and reminding me again and again of my secrets in public. It was so painful to see the betrayal and shock that I vented my heart out to the wrong people.

Next, I realized that trust is something I treasure a lot. I cannot tolerate inauthentic people who are self centered, egoistic, selfish, liar, manipulative and exploitative. It is better to keep few people in my trust than to be the social butterfly. Never tell your secrets to anyone, unless you trust them for years. No matter how much someone pretends to be genuine and kind, they might be just pretending to get into your circle. When you have confident in yourself and have made peace with your traumatic past, you are less likely to attract predatory people who are looking for emotional and material exploitation from you.

So make peace with your past. Do not keep ruminating on the trauma. Subconscious rumination, venting, reliving the past, recalling the past, wishing things happened differently, going over the past again and again is bound to attract more abusive people into your life. These people are attracted to your subconscious patterns. Do not remain a victim. Do not seek pity. Do not seek sympathy. Be a strong person. Read stories of other people who overcame their trauma and built a strong character. Build up your personality. Do things that help you self actualize -- writing, journaling, art, sports, music, anything that helps you understand yourself.

These are some of the things I recommend to 8th house/scorpio natives. They will really improve the quality of your life.

These natives seem to always have problems with other people. Either they have people in life who manipulate them or use them or lie to them or only there for their resources.

No matter the sign placed in it, 8th house planets can give extreme emotional swings, pain, chaos, painful feelings that force them to do shadow work. It brings forth the unconscious sides of their psyche and with force they learn to acknowledge and make peace with it.

If you find someone with 8th house planets who is emotionally distraught, suffering mixed reactions from people and tired of their problems, do initiate them into occult. Tell them about spirituality, self healing and self development. Do gift them a tarot deck or introduce them to astro website or youtube channel. I have observed that people who are emotional thinkers, who have Scorpio cancer pisces inner placements, who have planets in 4th 8th 12th houses often face problems in their social, family and friendly life. If the people in their environment are emotionally intelligent then it is good. Otherwise, they may face problems in expressing themselves.

Emotional thinkers act on their emotions rather than logic. The worst kind of audience for them is someone who is emotionally illiterate. These people will show no empathy, no remorse, no kindness. Air/Fire dominant people can be really cruel towards water people.

Water people are just more sensitive and perceptive than others. Air/Fire people can gossip, bully, ridicule, roast each other like it is nothing but water people take things to heart and get offended + defensive.

Air/fire people can also lie, gaslight, manipulate like it is nothing. They are naturally that way. Water people are prone to people pleasing and being submissive. People love to get emotional reaction from you. These are the people to cry over a puppy video and rage over slight threat.

Add to it childhood trauma, and water babies are fucked up. Now you have an emotionally sensitive person living on survival mode. Oh my my!

So how to deal with social life when you're a water baby?

Learn to control your emotions. I often mention this in my blog but how to do this? Water babies are deep into their emotions. This emotional intensity is their strength as well as their weakness. They feel deeply. I again and again advice studying stoicism. It will change your life. Practice controlling your emotions with your trustworthy friends and family.

Prioritize your needs and wants. Dont be a doormat for others. Serve yourself first then serve others. Air/Fire people naturally know they are self centered but water babies can be lost as to whom they are to serve. Dont be like "I do so much for you but you dont care".

Trust a person for their action and you will never be fooled by their words. Water babies really trust what others say. They are naive and sincere like that. It doesn't even cross their mind that others can lie and manipulate them. Beware of those who lie. They are sure to backbite you someday.

Not just their personality but their surroundings also is determined by their planets and placements. They can attract both wholesome and unwholesome people into their lives. How to avoid unwholesome people? Boundaries and self esteem. When you assert your boundaries, toxic people will leave you. If you have weak boundaries, they will eat you alive. Trust me, I know this 😢

Learn about transactional relationships. Nothing is unconditional. Not even a mother's love. A mother loves her child because of natural connection, obligation, preservation of offspring and to fulfill her own emotional needs. Romantic relationships are transactions = companionship, conversations, mutual interests, similar traits, sexual needs, financial needs. Friendships are transactions: conversation, similar traits, companionship, learning and laughter. Please know that there is no such thing as unconditional love or devoted love. Learn self preservation.

Some of the closest people to me are the water babies. I often see them being bullied by air/fire placements. My loved ones toughened up and bore it.
